Signs of the End of the Age
1. And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
1. Lorsque Jésus sortit du temple, un de ses disciples lui dit: Maître, regarde quelles pierres, et quelles constructions!

2. And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
2. Jésus lui répondit: Vois-tu ces grandes constructions? Il ne restera pas pierre sur pierre qui ne soit renversée.

3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

4. Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

5. And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
5. Jésus se mit alors à leur dire: Prenez garde que personne ne vous séduise.

6. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6. "Car plusieurs viendront sous mon nom, disant; C`est moi. Et ils séduiront beaucoup de gens."

7. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
7. Quand vous entendrez parler de guerres et de bruits de guerres, ne soyez pas troublés, car il faut que ces choses arrivent. Mais ce ne sera pas encore la fin.
7. "Ary raha handre ady sy filazana ady ianareo, dia aza matahotra; tsy maintsy hisy izany, nefa tsy mbola tonga ny farany."
8. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
8. "Une nation s`élèvera contre une nation, et un royaume contre un royaume; il y aura des tremblements de terre en divers lieux, il y aura des famines. Ce ne sera que le commencement des douleurs."
8. "Fa hisy firenena hitsangana hamely firenena, ary hisy fanjakana hitsangana hamely fanjakana; ary hisy horohorontany any amin' ny toerana maro samy hafa, sady hisy mosary sy fikorontanana; izany no fiandohan' ny fahoriana."
9. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
9. "Prenez garde à vous-mêmes. On vous livrera aux tribunaux, et vous serez battus de verges dans les synagogues; vous comparaîtrez devant des gouverneurs et devant des rois, à cause de moi, pour leur servir de témoignage."
9. Fa mitandrema ianareo, fa hatolotra amin' ny Synedriona sy hokapohina ao amin' ny synagoga ary hitsangana eo anatrehan' ny mpanapaka sy ny mpanjaka noho ny amiko ianareo ho vavolombelona aminy.
10. And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
10. Il faut premièrement que la bonne nouvelle soit prêchée à toutes les nations.

11. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
11. "Quand on vous emmènera pour vous livrer, ne vous inquiétez pas d`avance de ce que vous aurez à dire, mais dites ce qui vous sera donné à l`heure même; car ce n`est pas vous qui parlerez, mais l`Esprit Saint."
11. "Koa raha mitondra anareo hatolotra izy ireo, dia aza manahy rahateo izay holazainareo, na mihevitra izany; fa izay homena anareo amin' izany ora izany no holazainareo; fa tsy ianareo no hiteny fa ny Fanahy Masina."
12. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
12. "Le frère livrera son frère à la mort, et le père son enfant; les enfants se soulèveront contre leurs parents, et les feront mourir."
12. "Ary ny rahalahy hamadika ny rahalahiny ho amin' ny fahafatesana, ary ny ray hanolotra ny zanany; ary ny zanaka hitsangana hanohitra ny ray aman-dreniny ka hahafaty azy."
13. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
13. Vous serez haïs de tous, à cause de mon nom, mais celui qui persévérera jusqu`à la fin sera sauvé.
13. Ary ho halan'ny olona rehetra ianareo noho ny anarako: fa izay maharitra hatramin' ny farany no hovonjena.
14. But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
14. "Lorsque vous verrez l`abomination de la désolation établie là où elle ne doit pas être, -que celui qui lit fasse attention, -alors, que ceux qui seront en Judée fuient dans les montagnes;"
14. Fa raha hitanareo mitsangana amin' izay tsy tokony hitsanganany “ny fahavetavetana mahatonga fandravana” araka izay nolazain' i Daniela mpaminany (aoka hisaina izay mamaky izany), dia aoka handositra ho any an-tendrombohitra izay olona any Jodia.
15. And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
15. "que celui qui sera sur le toit ne descende pas et n`entre pas pour prendre quelque chose dans sa maison;"

16. And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
16. et que celui qui sera dans les champs ne retourne pas en arrière pour prendre son manteau.

17. But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
17. Malheur aux femmes qui seront enceintes et à celles qui allaiteront en ces jours-là!

18. And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
18. Priez pour que ces choses n`arrivent pas en hiver.
18. Ary mivavaha mba tsy ho amin' ny ririnina no handosiranareo.
19. For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
19. Car la détresse, en ces jours, sera telle qu`il n`y en a point eu de semblable depuis le commencement du monde que Dieu a créé jusqu`à présent, et qu`il n`y en aura jamais.
19. Fa amin' izany andro izany dia hisy fahoriana, izay tsy mbola nisy toy izany hatramin' ny niandohan' ny namoronan' Andriamanitra izao zavatra ary rehetra izao ka mandraka ankehitriny, sady tsy hisy intsony.
20. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
20. "Et, si le Seigneur n`avait abrégé ces jours, personne ne serait sauvé; mais il les a abrégés, à cause des élus qu`il a choisis."
20. "Ary raha tsy nohafohezin' ny Tompo izany andro izany, dia tsy nisy nofo hovonjena; fa noho ny olom-boafidy, izay nofidìny, dia nohafoheziny izany andro izany."
21. And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
21. "Si quelqu`un vous dit alors: ""Le Christ est ici"", ou: ""Il est là"", ne le croyez pas."
21. Ary amin' izany raha tàhiny misy olona miteny aminareo hoe: Indro, ety Kristy, na indro ery, aza mino azy ianareo.
22. For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
22. "Car il s`élèvera de faux Christs et de faux prophètes; ils feront des prodiges et des miracles pour séduire les élus, s`il était possible."

23. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
23. Soyez sur vos gardes: je vous ai tout annoncé d`avance.
23. "Fa mitandrema kosa ianareo; indro, efa voalazako taminareo rahateo ny zavatra rehetra."
24. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
24. Mais dans ces jours, après cette détresse, le soleil s`obscurcira, la lune ne donnera plus sa lumière,
24. Fa amin' izany andro izany, raha afaka izany fahoriana izany, ny masoandro hohamaizinina, ary ny volana tsy haneho fahazavana,
25. And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
25. les étoiles tomberont du ciel, et les puissances qui sont dans les cieux seront ébranlées.

26. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
26. Alors on verra le Fils de l`homme venant sur les nuées avec une grande puissance et avec gloire.
26. Ary amin' izay ny Zanak' olona dia ho hita avy eo amin' ny rahona amin' ny hery lehibe sy ny voninahitra.
27. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
27. Alors il enverra les anges, et il rassemblera les élus des quatre vents, de l`extrémité de la terre jusqu`à l`extrémité du ciel.
27. Ary amin' izay dia haniraka ny anjeliny Izy, ary hanangona ny olom-boafidiny avy amin' ny rivotra efatra hatramin' ny faran' ny tany ka hatramin' ny faran' ny lanitra.
28. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
28. Instruisez-vous par une comparaison tirée du figuier. Dès que ses branches deviennent tendres, et que les feuilles poussent, vous connaissez que l`été est proche.
28. Ary mianara ny fanoharana ny amin' ny hazo aviavimbazaha: Raha vao manaroka ny rantsany ka mandravina, dia fantatrareo fa efa akaiky ny fahavaratra.
29. So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
29. De même, quand vous verrez ces choses arriver, sachez que le Fils de l`homme est proche, à la porte.
29. Dia tahaka izany koa ianareo, raha vao hitanareo fa tonga izany zavatra izany, dia aoka ho fantatrareo fa efa akaiky eo am-baravarana izany.
30. Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
30. Je vous le dis en vérité, cette génération ne passera point, que tout cela n`arrive.
30. Lazaiko aminareo marina tokoa fa tsy mba ho lany io taranaka io mandra-pahatongan' izany rehetra izany.
31. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
31. Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point.
31. Ny lanitra sy ny tany ho levona, fa ny teniko tsy mba ho levona.
The Day and Hour Unknown
32. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
32. Pour ce qui est du jour ou de l`heure, personne ne le sait, ni les anges dans le ciel, ni le Fils, mais le Père seul.
32. Fa ny amin' izany andro na ora izany dia tsy misy mahalala, na ny anjely any an-danitra, ary na dia ny Zanaka aza, afa-tsy ny Ray ihany.
33. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
33. "Prenez garde, veillez et priez; car vous ne savez quand ce temps viendra."
33. "Mitandrema, miambena, ka mivavaha; fa tsy fantatrareo izay hiavian' ny fotoana."
34. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
34. Il en sera comme d`un homme qui, partant pour un voyage, laisse sa maison, remet l`autorité à ses serviteurs, indique à chacun sa tâche, et ordonne au portier de veiller.
34. Fa ny Zanak' olona dia tahaka ny olona nandeha hivahiny lavitra, izay nandao ny tranony ka nanome fahefana ny mpanompony, ka samy notolorany ny raharahany avy, ary nodidiany ny mpiandry varavarana hiambina.
35. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
35. "Veillez donc, car vous ne savez quand viendra le maître de la maison, ou le soir, ou au milieu de la nuit, ou au chant du coq, ou le matin;"
35. Koa miambena ianareo, fa tsy fantatrareo izay andro hiavian' ny tompon-trano, na ho hariva, na ho mamatonalina, na ho maneno akoho, na ho maraina,
36. Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
36. craignez qu`il ne vous trouve endormis, à son arrivée soudaine.
36. Fandrao avy tampoka izy ka mahita anareo matory.
37. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
37. Ce que je vous dis, je le dis à tous: Veillez.
37. Ary izay lazaiko aminareo dia lazaiko amin' ny olona rehetra koa: Miambena.
