Chapter 82
1. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
2. Jusques à quand jugerez-vous avec iniquité, Et aurez-vous égard à la personne des méchants? Pause.
2. Mandra-pahoviana no hitsaranareo tsy marina, ka ihenaranareo maso ny ratsy fanahy? [Sela.]
3. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
3. Rendez justice au faible et à l`orphelin, Faites droit au malheureux et au pauvre,

4. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
4. Sauvez le misérable et l`indigent, Délivrez-les de la main des méchants.

5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

8. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Chapter 83
1. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
1. (83:1) Cantique. Psaume d`Asaph. (83:2) O Dieu, ne reste pas dans le silence! Ne te tais pas, et ne te repose pas, ô Dieu!

2. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
2. (83:3) Car voici, tes ennemis s`agitent, Ceux qui te haïssent lèvent la tête.
2. "Fa, indro, mitabataba ny fahavalonao; ary izay mankahala Anao dia manandratra ny lohany."
3. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
3. (83:4) Ils forment contre ton peuple des projets pleins de ruse, Et ils délibèrent contre ceux que tu protèges.
3. "Ny olonao no iokoany amin' ny hafetsena; ary miara-misaina hamely izay voàfinao izy."
4. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
4. (83:5) Venez, disent-ils, exterminons-les du milieu des nations, Et qu`on ne se souvienne plus du nom d`Israël!

5. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
5. "(83:6) Ils se concertent tous d`un même coeur, Ils font une alliance contre toi;"

6. The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
6. (83:7) Les tentes d`Édom et les Ismaélites, Moab et les Hagaréniens,

7. Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
7. "(83:8) Guebal, Ammon, Amalek, Les Philistins avec les habitants de Tyr;"

8. Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

9. Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

10. Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
10. (83:11) Ils ont été détruits à En Dor, Ils sont devenus du fumier pour la terre.
10. "Izay maty tany En-dora ka tonga zeziky ny tany ireo;"
11. Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
11. (83:12) Traite leurs chefs comme Oreb et Zeeb, Et tous leurs princes comme Zébach et Tsalmunna!
11. "Ataovy tahaka an' i Oreba sy Zeba ny andrianany; eny, ataovy tahaka an' i Zebaha ary tahaka an' i Zalmona ny mpanapaka azy ireo;"
12. Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
12. (83:13) Car ils disent: Emparons-nous Des demeures de Dieu!
12. "Izay nanao hoe: Aoka halaintsika ho antsika ny fonenan' Andriamanitra;"
13. O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
13. (83:14) Mon Dieu! rends-les semblables au tourbillon, Au chaume qu`emporte le vent,
13. Andriamanitro ô, ataovy tahaka ny kodiarana ireo, tahaka ny mololo entin' ny rivotra.
14. As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
14. (83:15) Au feu qui brûle la forêt, A la flamme qui embrase les montagnes!
14. Tahaka ny afo mandoro ala sy tahaka ny lelafo mampirehitra tendrombohitra,
15. So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
15. (83:16) Poursuis-les ainsi de ta tempête, Et fais-les trembler par ton ouragan!
15. No anenjeho azy amin' ny tadionao sy ampitahory azy amin' ny tafio-drivotrao.
16. Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
16. (83:17) Couvre leur face d`ignominie, Afin qu`ils cherchent ton nom, ô Éternel!
16. Saròny henatra ny tavany, mba hitadiavany ny anaranao, Jehovah ô.
17. Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
17. (83:18) Qu`ils soient confus et épouvantés pour toujours, Qu`ils soient honteux et qu`ils périssent!
17. "Aoka ho menatra sy azom-pahoriana mandrakizay ireo; eny, aoka hangaihay sy haringana izy;"
18. That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
18. (83:19) Qu`ils sachent que toi seul, dont le nom est l`Éternel, Tu es le Très Haut sur toute la terre!

Chapter 84
1. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
1. (84:1) Au chef des chantres. Sur la guitthith. Des fils de Koré. Psaume. (84:2) Que tes demeures sont aimables, Éternel des armées!
1. [Ho an' ny mpiventy hira. Al-hagitith. Salamo ho an' ireo zanak' i Kora.] Endrey, maha-te-ho tia ny tabernakelinao Jehovah Tompon' ny maro ô!
2. My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
2. (84:3) Mon âme soupire et languit après les parvis de l`Éternel, Mon coeur et ma chair poussent des cris vers le Dieu vivant.
2. "Manina ny fanahiko, eny, vonton' alahelo ny kianjan' i Jehovah; mitaraina mafy amin' Andriamanitra velona ny foko sy ny nofoko."
3. Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
3. (84:4) Le passereau même trouve une maison, Et l`hirondelle un nid où elle dépose ses petits... Tes autels, Éternel des armées! Mon roi et mon Dieu!
3. Eny, nahita trano ny tsikirity, ary nahita akany ho azy hametrahany ny zanany ny sidintsidina, dia ny alitaranao Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro ô, Mpanjakako sy Andriamanitro.
4. Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
4. (84:5) Heureux ceux qui habitent ta maison! Ils peuvent te célébrer encore. Pause.
4. "Sambatra izay mitoetra ao an-tranonao; hidera Anao mandrakariva izy. [Sela.]"
5. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
5. (84:6) Heureux ceux qui placent en toi leur appui! Ils trouvent dans leur coeur des chemins tout tracés.
5. "Sambatra izay olona manan-kery avy aminao; ao am-pony ny lalany;"
6. Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
6. (84:7) Lorsqu`ils traversent la vallée de Baca, Ils la transforment en un lieu plein de sources, Et la pluie la couvre aussi de bénédictions.
6. "Raha mandeha mamaky ny lohasaha Baka izy, dia ataovy misy loharano izany; ny ranonorana koa mameno ny kamory."
7. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
7. (84:8) Leur force augmente pendant la marche, Et ils se présentent devant Dieu à Sion.
7. "Miampy hery eny am-pandehanana izy; samy miseho eo anatrehan' Andriamanitra any Ziona izy rehetra."
8. O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
8. (84:9) Éternel, Dieu des armées, écoute ma prière! Prête l`oreille, Dieu de Jacob! Pause.
8. "Jehovah Andriamanitry ny maro ô, henoy ny fivavako; mandrenesa ry Andriamanitr' i Jakoba ô. [Sela.]"
9. Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
9. (84:10) Toi qui es notre bouclier, vois, ô Dieu! Et regarde la face de ton oint!
9. Andriamanitra, Ampinganay ô, tsinjovy, ka jereo ny tavan' ny voahosotrao.
10. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
10. "(84:11) Mieux vaut un jour dans tes parvis que mille ailleurs; Je préfère me tenir sur le seuil de la maison de mon Dieu, Plutôt que d`habiter sous les tentes de la méchanceté."
10. "Fa ny indray andro eo an-kianjanao dia tsara noho ny arivo; aleoko ho mpiandry varavarana ao an-tranon' Andriamanitra toy izay mitoetra ao an-dain' ny ratsy fanahy."
11. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
11. (84:12) Car l`Éternel Dieu est un soleil et un bouclier, L`Éternel donne la grâce et la gloire, Il ne refuse aucun bien à ceux qui marchent dans l`intégrité.
11. "Fa Masoandro sy Ampinga Jehovah Andriamanitra; fahasoavana sy voninahitra no homen' i Jehovah; tsy hiaro zava-tsoa amin' izay mandeha amin' ny fahitsiana Izy."
12. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
12. (84:13) Éternel des armées! Heureux l`homme qui se confie en toi!
