Eating Blood Forbidden
1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2. Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,
2. Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, et à tous les enfants d`Israël, et tu leur diras: Voici ce que l`Éternel a ordonné.
2. Mitenena amin' i Arona sy ny zanany lahy ary amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely rehetra, ka lazao aminy hoe: Izao no zavatra izay andidian' i Jehovah:
3. What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
3. Si un homme de la maison d`Israël égorge dans le camp ou hors du camp un boeuf, un agneau ou une chèvre,
3. Na iza na iza amin' ny taranak' Isiraely no mamono omby, na zanak' ondry, na osy, na eo an-toby, na any ivelan' ny toby,
4. And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
4. "et ne l`amène pas à l`entrée de la tente d`assignation, pour en faire une offrande à l`Éternel devant le tabernacle de l`Éternel, le sang sera imputé à cet homme; il a répandu le sang, cet homme-là sera retranché du milieu de son peuple."
4. "Ka tsy mitondra izany eo anoloan' ny varavaran' ny tranolay fihaonana, hanolorany fanatitra ho an' i Jehovah eo anoloan' ny tabernakelin' i Jehovah, dia isaina ho meloka ny amin' ny rà izany olona izany, satria nandatsa-dra; ka ho-fongorana tsy ho amin' ny fireneny izy,"
5. To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
5. C`est afin que les enfants d`Israël, au lieu de sacrifier leurs victimes dans les champs, les amènent au sacrificateur, devant l`Éternel, à l`entrée de la tente d`assignation, et qu`ils les offrent à l`Éternel en sacrifices d`actions de grâces.
5. Mba hoentin' ny Zanak' Isiraely ny fanatitra izay ateriny any an-tsaha, dia izay entiny ho an' i Jehovah ho eo am-baravaran' ny tranolay fihaonana, ho eo amin' ny mpisorona ka hanolorany izany ho fanati-pihavanana ho an' i Jehovah.
6. And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
6. "Le sacrificateur en répandra le sang sur l`autel de l`Éternel, à l`entrée de la tente d`assignation; et il brûlera la graisse, qui sera d`une agréable odeur à l`Éternel."
6. Ary ny mpisorona hanopy ny rà amin' ny alitaran' i Jehovah eo amin' ny varavaran' ny tranolay fihaonana ka handoro ny sabora ho hanitra ankasitrahana ho an' i Jehovah.
7. And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
7. Ils n`offriront plus leurs sacrifices aux boucs, avec lesquels ils se prostituent. Ce sera une loi perpétuelle pour eux et pour leurs descendants.
7. Ary tsy hanolotra fanatitra ho an' ny devoly izay nijangajangany intsony izy. Ho lalàna mandrakizay amin' ny taranany mifandimby izany.
8. And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
8. Tu leur diras donc: Si un homme de la maison d`Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d`eux offre un holocauste ou une victime,
8. Ary lazao aminy hoe: Na iza na iza amin' ny taranak' Isiraely, na amin' ny vahiny izay mivahiny eo aminareo, no manolotra fanatitra dorana, na manao fanatitra,
9. And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
9. et ne l`amène pas à l`entrée de la tente d`assignation, pour l`offrir en sacrifice à l`Éternel, cet homme-là sera retranché de son peuple.
9. Ka tsy mitondra izany ho eo amin' ny varavaran'ny tranolay fihaonana, hanolotra izany ho an' i Jehovah, dia hofongorana tsy ho amin' ny fireneny izany olona izany.
10. And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
10. Si un homme de la maison d`Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d`eux mange du sang d`une espèce quelconque, je tournerai ma face contre celui qui mange le sang, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.
10. Ary na iza na iza amin' ny taranak' Isiraely, na amin' ny vahiny izay mivahiny eo aminareo, no mihinana rehefa mety ho ra, dia ny tavako no hanandrina izany fanahy mihinan-drà izany, ka hofongorana tsy ho amin' ny fireneny izy.
11. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
11. Car l`âme de la chair est dans le sang. Je vous l`ai donné sur l`autel, afin qu`il servît d`expiation pour vos âmes, car c`est par l`âme que le sang fait l`expiation.
11. "Fa ny ain' ny nofo dia ao amin' ny ra; ary nomeko anareo izany hatao ambonin' ny alitara hanao fanavotana ho an' ny fanahinareo; fa ny rà no manao fanavotana ho an' ny fanahy."
12. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
12. C`est pourquoi j`ai dit aux enfants d`Israël: Personne d`entre vous ne mangera du sang, et l`étranger qui séjourne au milieu de vous ne mangera pas du sang.
12. Koa izany no nilazako tamin' ny Zanak' Isiraely hoe: Tsy misy fanahy aminareo hihinana ra, na ny vahiny mivahiny eo aminareo izay hihinana ra.
13. And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
13. Si quelqu`un des enfants d`Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d`eux prend à la chasse un animal ou un oiseau qui se mange, il en versera le sang et le couvrira de poussière.
13. Na iza na iza amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely, na amin' ny vahiny izay mivahiny eo aminareo, no mihaza ka mahazo biby, na vorona izay fihinana, dia haidiny amin' ny tany ny rany ka hototofany.
14. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
14. "Car l`âme de toute chair, c`est son sang, qui est en elle. C`est pourquoi j`ai dit aux enfants d`Israël: Vous ne mangerez le sang d`aucune chair; car l`âme de toute chair, c`est son sang: quiconque en mangera sera retranché."
14. "Fa izany no ain' ny nofo rehetra; ny rany no ainy; koa izany no nilazako tamin' ny Zanak' Isiraely hoe: Aza mihinana ny ràn' ny karazana nofo rehetra ianareo; fa ny rany no ain' ny nofo rehetra, ka izay rehetra mihinana izany dia haringana."
15. And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
15. "Toute personne, indigène ou étrangère, qui mangera d`une bête morte ou déchirée, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera dans l`eau, et sera impure jusqu`au soir; puis elle sera pure."
15. Ary ny fanahy rehetra na tompon-tany, na vahiny, izay mihinana izay maty ho azy, na izay noviraviraim-biby dia samy hanasa ny fitafiany sy handro amin' ny rano, ary haloto mandra-paharivan' ny andro izy, dia izay vao hadio.
16. But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
16. Si elle ne lave pas ses vêtements, et ne lave pas son corps, elle portera la peine de sa faute.
16. Fa raha tsy manasa izany izy, na tsy mampandro ny tenany, dia hitondra ny helony izy.
