The End Has Come
1. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2. Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
2. Et toi, fils de l`homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l`Éternel, Sur le pays d`Israël: Voici la fin! La fin vient sur les quatre extrémités du pays!
2. Ary ianao, ry zanak' olona, dia izao no lazain' i Jehovah Andriamanitra amin' ny tanin' ny Isiraely: Injao ny farany, mby akaiky ny farany ho amin' ny vazan-tany efatra.
3. Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
3. "Maintenant la fin vient sur toi; J`enverrai ma colère contre toi, Je te jugerai selon tes voies, Je te chargerai de toutes tes abominations."
3. Ankehitriny dia mby akaikinao ny farany ary halefako aminao ny fahatezerako dia hotsaraiko araka ny alehanao ianao ka hatambesatro aminao ny fahavetavetanao rehetra.
4. And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
4. "Mon oeil sera pour toi sans pitié, Et je n`aurai point de miséricorde; Mais je te chargerai de tes voies, Et tes abominations seront au milieu de toi; Et vous saurez que je suis l`Éternel."
4. "Ary tsy hiantra anao ny masoko sady tsy hamindra fo Aho; fa hatambesatro aminao ny lalanao ary ny fahavetavetanao dia ho eo aminao ka dia ho fantatrareo fa Izaho no Jehovah."
5. Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
5. Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l`Éternel: Un malheur, un malheur unique! voici, il vient!
5. Izao no lazain' i Jehovah Andriamanitra: Indro, avy ny loza, eny ny loza iray.
6. An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
6. La fin vient, la fin vient, elle se réveille contre toi! Voici, elle vient!
6. "Tonga ny farany, tonga ny farany, mifoha hamely anao izy; indro, efa mby akaiky izany."
7. The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
7. Ton tour arrive, habitant du pays! Le temps vient, le jour approche, jour de trouble, Et plus de cris de joie dans les montagnes!
7. "Tonga aminao ny maraina ry mponina amin' ny tany; tonga ny fotoana, mby akaiky ny androm-pahoriana, fa tsy ny fihobiana eny an-tendrombohitra."
8. Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
8. "Maintenant je vais bientôt répandre ma fureur sur toi, Assouvir sur toi ma colère; Je te jugerai selon tes voies, Je te chargerai de toutes tes abominations."
8. Ary vetivety foana dia hampidiniko aminao ny fahatezerako, ary hotanterahiko aminao ny fahavinirako ka hotsaraiko araka ny alehanao ianao, ary hatambesatro aminao ny fahavetavetanao rehetra.
9. And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.
9. "Mon oeil sera sans pitié, Et je n`aurai point de miséricorde; Je te chargerai de tes voies, Et tes abominations seront au milieu de toi. Et vous saurez que je suis l`Éternel, celui qui frappe."
9. "Ary tsy hiantra anao ny masoko sady tsy hamindra fo Aho; hamaly anao Aho araka ny lalanao sy ny fahavetavetanao eo aminao ka dia ho fantatrareo fa Izaho Jehovah no mamely."
10. Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
10. Voici le jour! voici, il vient! Le tour arrive! La verge fleurit! L`orgueil s`épanouit!
10. "Indro ny andro, indro mby akaiky izany; lasa ny maraina, efa mamony ny tsorakazo, efa manorobona ny avonavona."
11. Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
11. La violence s`élève, pour servir de verge à la méchanceté: Plus rien d`eux, de leur foule bruyante, de leur multitude! On ne se lamente pas sur eux!
11. Ny fanaovana an-keriny dia mitsangana ho tsorakazon' ny faharatsiana, tsy hisy sisa intsony aminy, na ny hamaroany, na ny fananany, ary tsy hisy hidradradradra ho azy.
12. The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
12. Le temps vient, le jour approche! Que l`acheteur ne se réjouisse pas, Que le vendeur ne s`afflige pas! Car la colère éclate contre toute leur multitude.
12. "Mby akaiky ny fotoana, antomotra ny andro; aoka tsy hifaly ny mpividy, na halahelo ny mpivarotra; fa iharan' ny fahatezerana mirehitra ny hamaroany rehetra."
13. For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
13. "Non, le vendeur ne recouvrera pas ce qu`il a vendu, Fût-il encore parmi les vivants; Car la prophétie contre toute leur multitude ne sera pas révoquée, Et à cause de son iniquité nul ne conservera sa vie."
13. "Fa ny mpivarotra tsy hifodian' izay efa lafony, na dia mbola isan' ny velona aza izy; fa ny fahitana ny amin' ny hanjo ny hamaroany dia tsy hitsoaka ary tsy hisy hampahery ny ainy amin' ny helony."
14. They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
14. "On sonne de la trompette, tout est prêt, Mais personne ne marche au combat; Car ma fureur éclate contre toute leur multitude."
14. Efa nitsoka ny trompetra izy ka nahavonona ny zavatra rehetra nefa tsy misy mankany amin' ny ady satria iharan' ny fahatezerako mirehitra ny hamaroany rehetra.
15. The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
15. L`épée au dehors, la peste et la famine au dedans! Celui qui est aux champs mourra par l`épée, Celui qui est dans la ville sera dévoré par la famine et par la peste.
15. "Ny sabatra no eny ivelany ary ny areti-mandringana sy ny mosary kosa no ao anatiny; izay any an-tsaha dia ho fatin-tsabatra, ary izay any an-tanàna kosa dia ho levon' ny mosary sy ny areti-mandringana."
16. But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
16. Leurs fuyards s`échappent, Ils sont sur les montagnes, comme les colombes des vallées, Tous gémissant, Chacun sur son iniquité.
16. "Fa izay afa-mandositra amin' izy ireo dia handositra ka ho any an-tendrombohitra ho tahaka ny voromailala an-dohasaha; izy rehetra dia samy hitoloko noho ny helony."
17. All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
17. Toutes les mains sont affaiblies, Tous les genoux se fondent en eau.
17. Hiraviravy ny tanana rehetra, ary halemy tahaka ny rano ny lohalika rehetra.
18. They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
18. "Ils se ceignent de sacs, Et la terreur les enveloppe; Tous les visages sont confus, Toutes les têtes sont rasées."

19. They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
19. "Ils jetteront leur argent dans les rues, Et leur or sera pour eux un objet d`horreur; Leur argent et leur or ne pourront les sauver, Au jour de la fureur de l`Éternel; Ils ne pourront ni rassasier leur âme, Ni remplir leurs entrailles; Car c`est ce qui les a fait tomber dans leur iniquité."
19. "Ny volafotsiny dia hariany eny an-dalambe, ary ny volamenany hoesorina; ny volafotsiny sy ny volamenany tsy hahavonjy azy amin' ny andro fahatezeran' i Jehovah, tsy hahavoky ny fanahiny na hahafeno ny kibony izany, fa tonga fahatafintohinana mahameloka azy."
20. As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
20. "Ils étaient fiers de leur magnifique parure, Et ils en ont fabriqué les images de leurs abominations, de leurs idoles. C`est pourquoi je la rendrai pour eux un objet d`horreur;"
20. Fa ny fahatsaran-tarehin' ny firavany dia nataony ho fiandrianany nefa nentiny nanao ireo sarin' ny fahavetavetany sy ireo zava-dratsiny maharikoriko eo aminy: noho izany no nampanalaviriko azy aminy.
21. And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
21. Je la donnerai en pillage aux mains des étrangers, Et comme butin aux impies de la terre, Afin qu`ils la profanent.
21. Ary hatolotro ho sambotra eny an-tanan' ny hafa firenena izy, eny, ho babo ho an' ny ratsy fanahy amin' ny tany, ka holotoin' ireny izy.
22. My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
22. "Je détournerai d`eux ma face, Et l`on souillera mon sanctuaire; Des furieux y pénétreront, et le profaneront."
22. "Dia hiamboho azy koa Aho, ka holotoiny ny rakitro; fa hiditra ao aminy ny mpandroba ka handoto azy."
23. Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
23. Prépare les chaînes! Car le pays est rempli de meurtres, La ville est pleine de violence.
23. Manefe gadra, fa efa feno vonoan' olona amin' ny fandatsahan-drà ny tany, ary feno fampahoriana ny tanàna.
24. Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
24. "Je ferai venir les plus méchants des peuples, Pour qu`ils s`emparent de leurs maisons; Je mettrai fin à l`orgueil des puissants, Et leurs sanctuaires seront profanés."
24. "Ka dia hitondra izay jentilisa ratsy indrindra Aho, ary ho lasan' ireny ny tranony; dia hatsahatro ny avonavon' ny mahery, ary holotoina ny fitoerany masina."
25. Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
25. La ruine vient! Ils cherchent le salut, et point de salut!
25. "Ho avy ny fandringanana; ary hitady fiadanana izy, fa tsy hisy."
26. Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
26. "Il arrive malheur sur malheur, Un bruit succède à un bruit; Ils demandent des visions aux prophètes; Les sacrificateurs ne connaissent plus la loi, Les anciens n`ont plus de conseils."
26. "Mifanontona ny fandravana ary mifanindry ny filazan-doza; dia hanontany fahitana amin' ny mpaminany izy fa tsy hisy lalàna intsony amin' ny mpisorona, na fahendrena amin' ny anti-panahy."
27. The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
27. Le roi se désole, le prince s`épouvante, Les mains du peuple du pays sont tremblantes. Je les traiterai selon leurs voies, Je les jugerai comme ils le méritent, Et ils sauront que je suis l`Éternel.
27. "Hitomany ny mpanjaka, eny, hitafy fahatalanjonana ny andriana ary hangovitra ny tanan' ny vahoaka amin' ny tany; araka ny alehany no hataoko aminy ary hotsaraiko araka ny fitsarana nataony izy, ka dia ho fantany fa Izaho no Jehovah."
