The Glory Returns to the Temple
1. Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:

2. And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

3. And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
3. "Cette vision était semblable à celle que j`avais eue lorsque j`étais venu pour détruire la ville; et ces visions étaient semblables à celle que j`avais eue près du fleuve du Kebar. Et je tombai sur ma face."
3. "Ary ny tarehin' ny zavatra hitako dia tahaka ny an' ilay fahitana efa hitako, fony aho tonga handrava ny tanàna; ary tahaka ny fahitana ny tarehin' ilay fahitana efa hitako teo amoron' ny ony Kebara ihany; ka dia nikarapoka nihohoka aho."
4. And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
4. La gloire de l`Éternel entra dans la maison par la porte qui était du côté de l`orient.
4. Ary ny voninahitr' i Jehovah dia niditra tamin' ny vavahady manatrika ny atsinanana ho ao an-trano.
5. So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
5. Alors, l`esprit m`enleva et me transporta dans le parvis intérieur. Et voici, la gloire de l`Éternel remplissait la maison.
5. "Dia nanainga ahy ny fanahy ka nitondra ahy niditra ho ao amin' ny kianja anatiny; ary, indro, nameno ny trano ny voninahitr' i Jehovah."
6. And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
6. J`entendis quelqu`un qui me parlait depuis la maison, et un homme se tenait près de moi.
6. "Dia reko fa nisy niteny tamiko tao an-trano; ary nitsangana teo anilako ralehilahy."
7. And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
7. "Il me dit: Fils de l`homme, c`est ici le lieu de mon trône, le lieu où je poserai la plante de mes pieds; j`y habiterai éternellement au milieu des enfants d`Israël. La maison d`Israël et ses rois ne souilleront plus mon saint nom par leurs prostitutions et par les cadavres de leurs rois sur leurs hauts lieux."
7. Dia hoy Izy tamiko: Ry zanak' olona, ny fitoeran' ny sezafiandrianako sy ny fitoeran' ny faladiako izay honenako mandrakizay eto amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely ary ny anarako masina dia tsy holotoin' ny taranak' Isiraely na izy na ny mpanjakany amin' ny fijangajangana sy amin' ny fatin' ny mpanjakany ao amin' ny fitoerany avo intsony.
8. In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
8. "Ils mettaient leur seuil près de mon seuil, leurs poteaux près de mes poteaux, et il n`y avait qu`un mur entre moi et eux; ils ont ainsi souillé mon saint nom par les abominations qu`ils ont commises; c`est pourquoi je les ai consumés dans ma colère."
8. "Tamin' ny nametrahany ny tokonam-baravaran' ireny teo anilan' ny tokonam-baravarako sy ny tolànan' ireny teo anilan' ny tolànako, ka rindrina ihany no teo anelanelako sy ireny, dia nolotoiny tamin' ny fahavetavetana nataony ny anarako masina; ka dia nahalany ringana azy tamin' ny fahatezerako Aho."
9. Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
9. Maintenant ils éloigneront de moi leurs prostitutions et les cadavres de leurs rois, et j`habiterai éternellement au milieu d`eux.

10. Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
10. "Toi, fils de l`homme, montre ce temple à la maison d`Israël; qu`ils en mesurent le plan, et qu`ils rougissent de leurs iniquités."
10. Hianao, ry zanak' olona, asehoy amin' ny taranak' Isiraely ny trano mba hahamenatra azy ny amin' ny helony, ka dia horefesiny ny maritrano.
11. And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
11. "S`ils rougissent de toute leur conduite, fais-leur connaître la forme de cette maison, sa disposition, ses issues et ses entrées, tous ses dessins et toutes ses ordonnances, tous ses dessins et toutes ses lois; mets-en la description sous leurs yeux, afin qu`ils gardent tous ses dessins et toutes ses ordonnances, et qu`ils s`y conforment dans l`exécution."
11. "Ary raha menatra ny amin' izay rehetra efa nataony izy, dia asehoy azy ny endriky ny trano mbamin' ny fombafombany sy ny fivoahana avy ao aminy sy ny fidirana ho ao aminy ary ny endriny rehetra sy ny didy rehetra aminy, eny, ny endriny rehetra ary ny lalàna rehetra aminy; koa soraty eo imasony izany, hitandremany ny endriny rehetra sy ny lalàny rehetra ka hanatanterahany izany."
12. This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
12. Telle est la loi de la maison. Sur le sommet de la montagne, tout l`espace qu`elle doit occuper est très saint. Voilà donc la loi de la maison.
12. Izao no lalàna amin' ny trano: ho masina dia ho masina avokoa izay rehetra voafaritra ho azy eo an-tampon' ny tendrombohitra. Eny, izany no lalàna ny amin' ny trano.
The Altar
13. And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
13. "Voici les mesures de l`autel, d`après les coudées dont chacune était d`un palme plus longue que la coudée ordinaire. La base avait une coudée de hauteur, et une coudée de largeur; et le rebord qui terminait son contour avait un empan de largeur; c`était le support de l`autel."
13. "Ary izao no refin' ny alitara araka ny hakiho, isaky ny hakiho iray dia mihoatra vodivoam-pelatanana noho ny fanao: ny fara-vodiny dia ho iray hakiho, ary ho iray hakiho koa ny sakany, ary ny koronosiny manodidina dia ho irain-jehy; ireo no ho fiorenan' ny alitara."
14. And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
14. "Depuis la base sur le sol jusqu`à l`encadrement inférieur il y avait deux coudées, et une coudée de largeur; et depuis le petit jusqu`au grand encadrement il y avait quatre coudées, et une coudée de largeur."
14. "Ary hatramin' ny fara-vodiny eo amin' ny tany ka hatramin' ny rindriny ambany dia ho roa hakiho, ary ny sakany dia ho iray hakiho; ary hatramin' ny rindriny avo dia ho efatra hakiho; ary ny sakany dia ho iray hakiho."
15. So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.
15. "L`autel avait quatre coudées; et quatre cornes s`élevaient de l`autel."
15. Ary ny fanambonin' ny alitara dia ho efatra hakiho ary eo ambonin' ny alitara dia hisy tandroka efatra.
16. And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.
16. L`autel avait douze coudées de longueur, douze coudées de largeur, et formait un carré par ses quatre côtés.
16. Ho roa ambin' ny folo hakiho ny lavan' ny alitara ary ho roa ambin' ny folo hakiho koa ny sakany ary ho efa-joro sokera izy.
17. And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.
17. "L`encadrement avait quatorze coudées de longueur sur quatorze coudées de largeur à ses quatre côtés, le rebord qui terminait son contour avait une demi-coudée; la base avait une coudée tout autour, et les degrés étaient tournés vers l`orient."
17. "Ary ny rindriny dia ho efatra ambin' ny folo hakiho ny lavany sy efatra ambin' ny folo hakiho koa ny sakany, amin' ny lafiny efatra; ary ny koronosiny manodidina dia antsasaky ny hakiho; ary ny fara-vodiny dia ho iray hakiho manodidina; ary ny ambaratongany dia hanatrika ny atsinanana."
18. And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
18. Il me dit: Fils de l`homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l`Éternel: Voici les lois au sujet de l`autel, pour le jour où on le construira, afin d`y offrir les holocaustes et d`y répandre le sang.
18. "Ary hoy izy tamiko: Ry zanak' olona, izao no lazain' i Jehovah Andriamanitra: izao no didy ny amin' ny alitara amin' izay andro anaovana azy, hanaterana fanatitra dorana sy hanopazana rà aminy;"
19. And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
19. Tu donneras aux sacrificateurs, aux Lévites, qui sont de la postérité de Tsadok et qui s`approchent de moi pour me servir, dit le Seigneur, l`Éternel, un jeune taureau pour le sacrifice d`expiation.
19. Ny Levita mpisorona, taranak' i Zadoka izay manatona Ahy hanao ny asa fanompoana ho Ahy, dia homenao vantotr' ombilahy iray hatao fanatitra noho ny ota, hoy Jehovah Andriamanitra.
20. And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
20. "Tu prendras de son sang, et tu en mettras sur les quatre cornes de l`autel, sur les quatre angles de l`encadrement, et sur le rebord qui l`entoure; tu purifieras ainsi l`autel et tu en feras l`expiation."
20. "Dia hangalanao ny rany ka hatentinao amin' ny tandrony efatra sy amin' ny zorony efatra amin' ny rindriny ary amin' ny koronosiny manodidina; izany no hanadiovanao azy sy hanaovanao fanavotana ho azy."
21. Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
21. Tu prendras le taureau expiatoire, et on le brûlera dans un lieu réservé de la maison, en dehors du sanctuaire.
21. Halainao koa ny vantotr' ombilahy hatao fanatitra noho ny ota ka hodorany ao amin' ny fitoerana voatendry ao amin' ny trano ivelan' ny fitoerana masina.
22. And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
22. "Le second jour, tu offriras en expiation un bouc sans défaut; on purifiera ainsi l`autel, comme on l`aura purifié avec le taureau."
22. "Ary amin' ny andro faharoa no hanateranao osilahy tsy misy kilema hatao fanatitra noho ny ota; ary hodioviny ny alitara tahaka ny nanadiovany azy tamin' ny vantotr' ombilahy."
23. When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
23. Quand tu auras achevé la purification, tu offriras un jeune taureau sans défaut, et un bélier du troupeau sans défaut.
23. Ary rehefa vita ny anadiovanao azy, dia hanatitra vantotr' ombilahy tsy misy kilema sy ondrilahy tsy misy kilema ianao.
24. And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
24. "Tu les offriras devant l`Éternel; les sacrificateurs jetteront du sel sur eux, et les offriront en holocauste à l`Éternel."
24. Ary haterinao eo anatrehan' i Jehovah ireo ary ny mpisorona handraraka sira eo aminy, dia hanatitra azy ho fanatitra dorana ho an' i Jehovah.
25. Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.
25. "Pendant sept jours, tu sacrifieras chaque jour un bouc comme victime expiatoire; on sacrifiera aussi un jeune taureau et un bélier du troupeau, l`un et l`autre sans défaut."
25. Hafitoana no hanamboaranao osilahy isan' andro hatao fanatitra noho ny ota sy vantotr' ombilahy sy ondrilahy tsy misy kilema avy ao amin' ny biby fiompy.
26. Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
26. Pendant sept jours, on fera l`expiation et la purification de l`autel, on le consacrera.
26. Hafitoana no hanaovany fanavotana ho an' ny alitara sy hanadiovany azy: dia hanoka-tena izy ireo.
27. And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
27. Lorsque ses jours seront accomplis, dès le huitième jour et à l`avenir les sacrificateurs offriront sur l`autel vos holocaustes et vos sacrifices d`actions de grâces. Et je vous serai favorable, dit le Seigneur, l`Éternel.
27. "Ary rehefa tapitra izany andro izany dia hiantomboka amin' ny andro fahavalo no hanateran' ny mpisorona ny fanatitra doranareo eo amin' ny alitara sy ny fanati-pihavananareo; ary dia hankasitrahako ianareo, hoy Jehovah Andriamanitra."
