1. And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
2. Au milieu de la place de la ville et sur les deux bords du fleuve, il y avait un arbre de vie, produisant douze fois des fruits, rendant son fruit chaque mois, et dont les feuilles servaient à la guérison des nations.

3. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

4. And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
4. et son nom sera sur leurs fronts.

5. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
5. "Il n`y aura plus de nuit; et ils n`auront besoin ni de lampe ni de lumière, parce que le Seigneur Dieu les éclairera. Et ils régneront aux siècles des siècles."

6. And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

7. Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
7. Et voici, je viens bientôt. -Heureux celui qui garde les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre!
7. "Ary, indro, avy faingana Aho; sambatra izay mitandrina ny tenin’ny faminaniana amin’ity boky ity."
8. And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
8. C`est moi Jean, qui ai entendu et vu ces choses. Et quand j`eus entendu et vu, je tombai aux pieds de l`ange qui me les montrait, pour l`adorer.

9. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
9. Mais il me dit: Garde-toi de le faire! Je suis ton compagnon de service, et celui de tes frères les prophètes, et de ceux qui gardent les paroles de ce livre. Adore Dieu.

10. And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
10. Et il me dit: Ne scelle point les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre. Car le temps est proche.
10. Ary hoy izy tamiko: Aza asiana tombo-kase ny tenin’ny faminaniana amin’ity boky ity, fa antomotra ny fotoana.
11. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
11. "Que celui qui est injuste soit encore injuste, que celui qui est souillé se souille encore; et que le juste pratique encore la justice, et que celui qui est saint se sanctifie encore."
11. "Izay manao ny tsy marina, aoka mbola hanao ny tsy marina ihany izy; ary izay maloto, aoka mbola hihaloto ihany izy; ary izay marina kosa, aoka mbola hanao ny marina ihany izy, ary izay masina, aoka mbola hihamasina ihany izy."
12. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
12. Voici, je viens bientôt, et ma rétribution est avec moi, pour rendre à chacun selon ce qu`est son oeuvre.

13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
13. Je suis l`alpha et l`oméga, le premier et le dernier, le commencement et la fin.

14. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
14. Heureux ceux qui lavent leurs robes, afin d`avoir droit à l`arbre de vie, et d`entrer par les portes dans la ville!
14. Sambatra izay manatanteraka ny didiny, mba hananany fahefana amin’ny hazon’aina sy hidirany amin’ny vavahady ho ao an-tanàna.
15. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
15. Dehors les chiens, les enchanteurs, les impudiques, les meurtriers, les idolâtres, et quiconque aime et pratique le mensonge!

16. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
16. Moi, Jésus, j`ai envoyé mon ange pour vous attester ces choses dans les Églises. Je suis le rejeton et la postérité de David, l`étoile brillante du matin.
16. Izaho Jesosy naniraka ny anjeliko hanambara aminareo ireo zavatra ireo ho an’ny fiangonana. Izaho no Solofo sy taranak’i Davida, ny kintana mamirapiratra fitarik' andro.
17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
17. "Et l`Esprit et l`épouse disent: Viens. Et que celui qui entend dise: Viens. Et que celui qui a soif vienne; que celui qui veut, prenne de l`eau de la vie, gratuitement."
17. "Ny Fanahy sy ny ampakarina manao hoe: Avia. Ary aoka izay mahare hanao hoe: Avia. Ary aoka ho avy izay mangetaheta; ary izay mety, aoka izy hisotro maimaimpoana amin’ny ranon’aina."
18. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
18. "Je le déclare à quiconque entend les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre: Si quelqu`un y ajoute quelque chose, Dieu le frappera des fléaux décrits dans ce livre;"
18. "Fa izaho dia manambara amin’izay rehetra mandre ny tenin’ny faminaniana amin’ity boky ity: Raha misy manampy ireo zavatra ireo, Andriamanitra hanampy ireo loza voasoratra eto anatin’ity boky ity ho azy;"
19. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
19. et si quelqu`un retranche quelque chose des paroles du livre de cette prophétie, Dieu retranchera sa part de l`arbre de la vie et de la ville sainte, décrits dans ce livre.
19. Ary raha misy manaisotra amin’ny teny amin’ny bokin’ity faminaniana ity, dia hoesorin’Andriamanitra ny anjarany amin’ny bokin’ny fiainana sy ny tanàna masina ary amin’ny zavatra izay voasoratra ao anatin’ity boky ity.
20. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
20. Celui qui atteste ces choses dit: Oui, je viens bientôt. Amen! Viens, Seigneur Jésus!
