1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
3. Car-chose impossible à la loi, parce que la chair la rendait sans force, -Dieu a condamné le péché dans la chair, en envoyant, à cause du péché, son propre Fils dans une chair semblable à celle du péché,
3. Fa izay tsy hain' ny lalàna natao, satria ny nofo no nahalemy azy, Andriamanitra dia naniraka ny Zanany naka ny endriky ny nofo ota sy ho amin' ny ota ka nanameloka ny ota tao amin' ny nofo,
4. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
4. et cela afin que la justice de la loi fût accomplie en nous, qui marchons, non selon la chair, mais selon l`esprit.
4. Mba hahatanteraka ny fahamarinana ilain' ny lalàna amintsika, izay tsy mandeha araka ny nofo, fa araka ny Fanahy.
5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
5. Ceux, en effet, qui vivent selon la chair, s`affectionnent aux choses de la chair, tandis que ceux qui vivent selon l`esprit s`affectionnent aux choses de l`esprit.
5. "Fa izay araka ny nofo dia mihevitra izay zavatry ny nofo; fa izay araka ny Fanahy kosa mihevitra izay zavatry ny Fanahy."
6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
6. "Et l`affection de la chair, c`est la mort, tandis que l`affection de l`esprit, c`est la vie et la paix;"
6. Fa ny fihevitry ny nofo dia fahafatesana, fa ny fihevitry ny Fanahy kosa fiainana sy fiadanana.
7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
7. car l`affection de la chair est inimitié contre Dieu, parce qu`elle ne se soumet pas à la loi de Dieu, et qu`elle ne le peut même pas.

8. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
8. Or ceux qui vivent selon la chair ne sauraient plaire à Dieu.
8. Koa noho izany, izay ao amin'ny nofo dia tsy mahay manao izay mahafaly an' Andriamanitra.
9. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
9. Pour vous, vous ne vivez pas selon la chair, mais selon l`esprit, si du moins l`Esprit de Dieu habite en vous. Si quelqu`un n`a pas l`Esprit de Christ, il ne lui appartient pas.
9. Fa tsy ao amin' ny nofo ianareo, fa ao amin' ny Fanahy, raha ny Fanahin' Andriamanitra no mitoetra ao aminareo. Fa raha misy kosa olona tsy manana ny Fanahin' i Kristy, dia tsy Azy izy.
10. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
10. Et si Christ est en vous, le corps, il est vrai, est mort à cause du péché, mais l`esprit est vie à cause de la justice.
10. Fa raha Kristy no mitoetra ao anatinareo dia maty ny tena noho ny ota, fa fiainana kosa ny Fanahy noho ny fahamarinana.
11. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
11. Et si l`Esprit de celui qui a ressuscité Jésus d`entre les morts habite en vous, celui qui a ressuscité Christ d`entre les morts rendra aussi la vie à vos corps mortels par son Esprit qui habite en vous.

12. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
12. Ainsi donc, frères, nous ne sommes point redevables à la chair, pour vivre selon la chair.
12. Ary amin' izany, ry rahalahy, dia mpitrosa isika, tsy amin' ny nofo anefa, ka ho velona araka ny nofo.
13. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
13. "Si vous vivez selon la chair, vous mourrez; mais si par l`Esprit vous faites mourir les actions du corps, vous vivrez,"
13. "Fa raha velona araka ny nofo ianareo, dia ho faty; fa raha ny Fanahy no amonoanareo ny asan' ny tena, dia ho velona ianareo."
14. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
14. car tous ceux qui sont conduits par l`Esprit de Dieu sont fils de Dieu.
14. Fa izay rehetra tarihin' ny Fanahin' Andriamanitra no zanak' Andriamanitra.
15. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
15. "Et vous n`avez point reçu un esprit de servitude, pour être encore dans la crainte; mais vous avez reçu un Esprit d`adoption, par lequel nous crions: Abba! Père!"
15. Fa izay rehetra tarihin' ny Fanahin' Andriamanitra no zanak' Andriamanitra.
16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
16. L`Esprit lui-même rend témoignage à notre esprit que nous sommes enfants de Dieu.
16. Ny Fanahy dia miara-milaza amin' ny fanahintsika fa zanak' Andriamanitra isika.
17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
17. Or, si nous sommes enfants, nous sommes aussi héritiers: héritiers de Dieu, et cohéritiers de Christ, si toutefois nous souffrons avec lui, afin d`être glorifiés avec lui.

18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
18. J`estime que les souffrances du temps présent ne sauraient être comparées à la gloire à venir qui sera révélée pour nous.
18. Fa ataoko fa ny fahoriana amin' izao andro ankehitriny izao dia tsy tokony hoharina amin' ny voninahitra izay haseho amintsika.
19. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
19. Aussi la création attend-elle avec un ardent désir la révélation des fils de Dieu.
19. "Fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao dia samy maniry fatratra ka miandry ny fampisehoana ireo zanak' Andriamanitra;"
20. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
20. Car la création a été soumise à la vanité, -non de son gré, mais à cause de celui qui l`y a soumise, -
20. "Fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao dia nampanekena ho zava-poana, nefa tsy noho ny sitrapony, fa noho Izay nampanaiky azy amin' ny fanantenana;"
21. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
21. avec l`espérance qu`elle aussi sera affranchie de la servitude de la corruption, pour avoir part à la liberté de la gloire des enfants de Dieu.
21. Fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao dia hovotsorana amin' ny fanandevozan' ny fahalovana ho amin' ny fahafahana be voninahitr' ireo zanak' Andriamanitra.
22. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
22. Or, nous savons que, jusqu`à ce jour, la création tout entière soupire et souffre les douleurs de l`enfantement.
22. "Fa fantatsika fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao dia miara-misento sy miara-marary toy izay efa hiteraka mandraka ankehitriny;"
23. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
23. "Et ce n`est pas elle seulement; mais nous aussi, qui avons les prémices de l`Esprit, nous aussi nous soupirons en nous-mêmes, en attendant l`adoption, la rédemption de notre corps."
23. Ary tsy izany ihany, fa isika koa, na dia manana ny voaloham-bokatry ny Fanahy aza, eny, isika aza dia misento ato anatintsika, miandry ny fananganan' anaka, dia ny fanavotana ny tenantsika.
24. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
24. Car c`est en espérance que nous sommes sauvés. Or, l`espérance qu`on voit n`est plus espérance: ce qu`on voit, peut-on l`espérer encore?
24. "Fa ny fanantenana no namonjena antsika; nefa ny fanantenana hita dia tsy mba fanantenana intsony; fa ahoana no mbola anantenan' ny olona izay efa hitany?"
25. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
25. Mais si nous espérons ce que nous ne voyons pas, nous l`attendons avec persévérance.
25. Fa raha manantena izay tsy mbola hitantsika isika, dia miandry izany amim-paharetana.
26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
26. "De même aussi l`Esprit nous aide dans notre faiblesse, car nous ne savons pas ce qu`il nous convient de demander dans nos prières. Mais l`Esprit lui-même intercède par des soupirs inexprimables;"
26. "Ary toy izany koa, ny Fanahy no mamonjy ny fahalementsika: fa tsy fantatsika izay vavaka tokony hataontsika; fa ny Fanahy no mifona amin' ny fitarainana tsy azo tononina."
27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
27. et celui qui sonde les coeurs connaît quelle est la pensée de l`Esprit, parce que c`est selon Dieu qu`il intercède en faveur des saints.
27. Ary Izay mandinika ny fo no mahalala izay hevitry ny Fanahy, satria manao fifonana ho an' ny olona masina izy araka ny sitrapon' Andriamanitra.
28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
28. Nous savons, du reste, que toutes choses concourent au bien de ceux qui aiment Dieu, de ceux qui sont appelés selon son dessein.
28. Ary fantatsika fa ny zavatra rehetra dia miara-miasa hahasoa izay tia an' Andriamanitra, dia izay voantso araka ny fikasany rahateo,
29. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
29. Car ceux qu`il a connus d`avance, il les a aussi prédestinés à être semblables à l`image de son Fils, afin que son Fils fût le premier-né entre plusieurs frères.
29. Satria izay fantany rahateo no notendreny mialoha koa hitovy endrika amin' ny Zanany, mba ho Lahimatoa amin' ny rahalahy maro Izy.
30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
30. "Et ceux qu`il a prédestinés, il les a aussi appelés; et ceux qu`il a appelés, il les a aussi justifiés; et ceux qu`il a justifiés, il les a aussi glorifiés."
30. "Ary izay notendreny mialoha no nantsoiny koa; ary izay nantsoiny no nohamarininy koa; ary izay nohamarininy no nomeny voninahitra koa."
31. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
31. Que dirons-nous donc à l`égard de ces choses? Si Dieu est pour nous, qui sera contre nous?
31. Inona ary no holazaintsika ny amin' izany zavatra izany? Raha Andriamanitra no momba antsika, iza no hahatohitra antsika?
32. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
32. Lui, qui n`a point épargné son propre Fils, mais qui l`a livré pour nous tous, comment ne nous donnera-t-il pas aussi toutes choses avec lui?
32. Izay tsy niaro ny Zanany lahy, fa natolony ho antsika rehetra Izy, tsy homeny antsika miaraka aminy maimaimpoana koa va ny zavatra rehetra?
33. Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
33. Qui accusera les élus de Dieu? C`est Dieu qui justifie!
33. Iza no hiampanga ny olom-boafidin' Andriamanitra? Andriamanitra no manamarina.
34. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
34. "Qui les condamnera? Christ est mort; bien plus, il est ressuscité, il est à la droite de Dieu, et il intercède pour nous!"
34. Iza no manameloka? Kristy no efa maty, eny, sady nitsangana tamin' ny maty koa ka mitoetra eo amin' ny tanana ankavanan' Andriamanitra ary mifona ho antsika.
35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
35. Qui nous séparera de l`amour de Christ? Sera-ce la tribulation, ou l`angoisse, ou la persécution, ou la faim, ou la nudité, ou le péril, ou l`épée?
35. Iza no hahasaraka antsika amin' ny fitiavan' i Kristy? Fahoriana va, sa fahantrana, sa fanenjehana, sa mosary, sa fitanjahana, sa loza, sa sabatra?
36. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
36. selon qu`il est écrit: C`est à cause de toi qu`on nous met à mort tout le jour, Qu`on nous regarde comme des brebis destinées à la boucherie.
36. "Araka ny voasoratra hoe: Fa noho ny aminao no namonoana anay isan' andro; toy ny ondry hovonoina no fijery anay"
37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
37. Mais dans toutes ces choses nous sommes plus que vainqueurs par celui qui nous a aimés.
37. Kanefa amin' izany rehetra izany dia manoatra noho ny mpandresy isika amin' ny alalan' Ilay tia antsika.
38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
38. Car j`ai l`assurance que ni la mort ni la vie, ni les anges ni les dominations, ni les choses présentes ni les choses à venir,
38. Fa matoky aho fa na fahafatesana, na fiainana, na anjely, na ireo fanapahana, na hery, na zavatra ankehitriny, na zavatra ho avy,
39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
39. ni les puissances, ni la hauteur, ni la profondeur, ni aucune autre créature ne pourra nous séparer de l`amour de Dieu manifesté en Jésus Christ notre Seigneur.
39. Na ny fahamboniana, na ny halalina, na inona na inona amin' izao zavatra ary rehetra izao, dia tsy hahasaraka antsika amin' ny fitiavan' Andriamanitra izay ao amin' i Kristy Jesosy Tompontsika.
