The Resurrection
1. And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
1. Lorsque le sabbat fut passé, Marie de Magdala, Marie, mère de Jacques, et Salomé, achetèrent des aromates, afin d`aller embaumer Jésus.

2. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
2. Le premier jour de la semaine, elles se rendirent au sépulcre, de grand matin, comme le soleil venait de se lever.
2. Ary raha vao maraina koa tamin' ny andro voalohany amin' ny herinandro, rehefa niposaka ny masoandro, dia nankany amin' ny fasana izy ireo.
3. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
3. Elles disaient entre elles: Qui nous roulera la pierre loin de l`entrée du sépulcre?
3. Ary niresaka izy hoe: Iza re no hanakodia ny vato ho afaka amin' ny varavaram-pasana hisolo antsika?
4. And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
4. Et, levant les yeux, elles aperçurent que la pierre, qui était très grande, avait été roulée.
4. "Fa nony nitazana izy ireo, dia, indro, hitany fa efa voakodia niala ny vato; fa lehibe dia lehibe ny vato."
5. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
5. Elles entrèrent dans le sépulcre, virent un jeune homme assis à droite vêtu d`une robe blanche, et elles furent épouvantées.
5. "Ary raha niditra tao anatin' ny fasana izy, dia nahita zatovo anankiray nipetraka teo amin' ny ankavanana niakanjo akanjo fotsy; dia natahotra izy ireo."
6. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
6. "Il leur dit: Ne vous épouvantez pas; vous cherchez Jésus de Nazareth, qui a été crucifié; il est ressuscité, il n`est point ici; voici le lieu où on l`avait mis."
6. "Fa hoy ilay zatovo taminy: Aza matahotra; mitady an' i Jesosy avy any Nazareta, Izay nohomboana tamin' ny hazofijaliana ianareo; efa nitsangana tamin' ny maty Izy; tsy ato Izy; jereo fa teo no nametrahany Azy."
7. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
7. Mais allez dire à ses disciples et à Pierre qu`il vous précède en Galilée: c`est là que vous le verrez, comme il vous l`a dit.

8. And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
8. "Elles sortirent du sépulcre et s`enfuirent. La peur et le trouble les avaient saisies; et elles ne dirent rien à personne, à cause de leur effroi."
8. "Dia nivoaka haingana izy ireo ka lasa nandositra niala teo amin' ny fasana, fa toran-kovitra sady talanjona izy; ary tsy mba nilaza na inona na inona tamin' olona izy ireo, satria natahotra."
9. Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
9. Jésus, étant ressuscité le matin du premier jour de la semaine, apparut d`abord à Marie de Magdala, de laquelle il avait chassé sept démons.
9. Ary rehefa nitsangana tamin' ny marainan' ny andro voalohany amin' ny herinandro Jesosy, dia niseho voalohany tamin' i Maria Magdalena, ilay namoahany devoly fito.
10. And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
10. Elle alla en porter la nouvelle à ceux qui avaient été avec lui, et qui s`affligeaient et pleuraient.
10. Ary nandeha Maria ka nilaza tamin' ireo efa nomba an' i Jesosy, izay mbola nisaona sy nitomany.
11. And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
11. Quand ils entendirent qu`il vivait, et qu`elle l`avait vu, ils ne le crurent point.
11. Ary izy ireo, na dia nandre aza fa velona Izy sady efa hitan-dravehivavy, dia tsy nino.
12. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
12. Après cela, il apparut, sous une autre forme, à deux d`entre eux qui étaient en chemin pour aller à la campagne.

13. And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
13. Ils revinrent l`annoncer aux autres, qui ne les crurent pas non plus.

14. Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
14. "Enfin, il apparut aux onze, pendant qu`ils étaient à table; et il leur reprocha leur incrédulité et la dureté de leur coeur, parce qu`ils n`avaient pas cru ceux qui l`avaient vu ressuscité."
14. "Rehefa afaka izany, dia niseho tamin' ny iraika ambin' ny folo lahy Izy; raha nipetraka nihinana ireo; ary Izy nanome tsiny azy noho ny tsy finoany sy ny hamafin' ny fony, satria tsy ninoany ireo efa nahita Azy, rehefa nitsangana tamin' ny maty Izy."
15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
15. Puis il leur dit: Allez par tout le monde, et prêchez la bonne nouvelle à toute la création.
15. Ary hoy Izy taminy: Mandehana any amin' izao tontolo izao ianareo, ka mitoria ny filazantsara amin' ny olombelona rehetra.
16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
16. Celui qui croira et qui sera baptisé sera sauvé, mais celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné.
16. "Izay mino sy atao batisa no hovonjena; fa izay tsy mety mino no hohelohina."
17. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
17. "Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru: en mon nom, ils chasseront les démons; ils parleront de nouvelles langues;"
17. "Ary izao famantarana izao no hanaraka izay mino: hamoaka devoly amin' ny anarako izy; hiteny amin' ny fiteny vaovao izy;"
18. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
18. "ils saisiront des serpents; s`ils boivent quelque breuvage mortel, il ne leur feront point de mal; ils imposeront les mains aux malades, et les malades, seront guéris."
18. "Handray menarana izy; ary raha nahasotro zava-mahafaty aza izy, dia tsy hampaninona azy izany; hametra-tanana amin' ny marary izy, dia ho sitrana ireny."
19. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
19. Le Seigneur, après leur avoir parlé, fut enlevé au ciel, et il s`assit à la droite de Dieu.
19. Ary Jesosy Tompo, rehefa niteny taminy, dia nampiakarina ho any an-danitra, ka nipetraka eo an-tanana ankavanan' Andriamanitra.
20. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
20. Et ils s`en allèrent prêcher partout. Le Seigneur travaillait avec eux, et confirmait la parole par les miracles qui l`accompagnaient.
