The Priests Begin Their Ministry
1. And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

2. And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.
2. Il dit à Aaron: Prends un jeune veau pour le sacrifice d`expiation, et un bélier pour l`holocauste, l`un et l`autre sans défaut, et sacrifie-les devant l`Éternel.
2. Dia hoy izy tamin' i Arona: Makà ombilahy kely ho fanatitra noho ny ota sy ondrilahy iray ho fanatitra dorana, izay tsy misy kilema, ka atero eo anatrehan' i Jehovah ireo.
3. And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;
3. "Tu parleras aux enfants d`Israël, et tu diras: Prenez un bouc, pour le sacrifice d`expiation, un veau et un agneau, âgés d`un an et sans défaut, pour l`holocauste;"
3. Ary hiteny amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely ianao manao hoe: Makà zanak' osilahy iray ho fanatitra noho ny ota sy ombilahy kely iray ary zanak' ondry iray, izay samy iray taona, tsy misy kilema, ho fanatitra dorana.
4. Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.
4. "un boeuf et un bélier, pour le sacrifice d`actions de grâces, afin de les sacrifier devant l`Éternel; et une offrande pétrie à l`huile. Car aujourd`hui l`Éternel vous apparaîtra."
4. "Ary omby iray sy ondrilahy iray ho fanati-pihavanana hatao fanatitra eo anatrehan' i Jehovah; ary fanatitra hohanina voaharo diloilo: fa anio no hisehoan' i Jehovah aminareo."
5. And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.
5. "Ils amenèrent devant la tente d`assignation ce que Moïse avait ordonné; et toute l`assemblée s`approcha, et se tint devant l`Éternel."
5. "Dia nitondra izay nandidian' i Mosesy azy ho eo anoloan' ny tranolay fihaonana izy; ary ny fiangonana rehetra nanatona ka nijanona teo anatrehan' i Jehovah."
6. And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
6. "Moïse dit: Vous ferez ce que l`Éternel a ordonné; et la gloire de l`Éternel vous apparaîtra."
6. Ary hoy Mosesy: Izao no zavatra izay nandidian' i Jehovah fa tokony hataonareo: dia hiseho aminareo ny voninahitr' i Jehovah.
7. And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.
7. "Moïse dit à Aaron: Approche-toi de l`autel; offre ton sacrifice d`expiation et ton holocauste, et fais l`expiation pour toi et pour le peuple; offre aussi le sacrifice du peuple, et fais l`expiation pour lui, comme l`Éternel l`a ordonné."
7. Ary hoy Mosesy tamin' i Arona: Manatòna ny alitara, dia manatera ny fanatitrao noho ny ota sy ny fanatitrao dorana, ka manaova fanavotana ho an' ny tenanao sy ho an' ny olona, dia manatera ny fanatitry ny olona ka manaova fanavotana ho azy ireo araka izay nandidian' i Jehovah.
8. Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
8. Aaron s`approcha de l`autel, et il égorgea le veau pour son sacrifice d`expiation.

9. And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:
9. "Les fils d`Aaron lui présentèrent le sang; il trempa son doigt dans le sang, en mit sur les cornes de l`autel, et répandit le sang au pied de l`autel."
9. Ary nentin' ny zanakalahin' i Arona ho eo aminy ny ra, dia nanoboka ny fanondrony tao amin' ny rà i Arona, ka nataony tamin' ny tandroky ny alitara izany, ary dia naidiny teo am-bodin' ny alitara ny ra:
10. But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.
10. Il brûla sur l`autel la graisse, les rognons, et le grand lobe du foie de la victime expiatoire, comme l`Éternel l`avait ordonné à Moïse.
10. Fa ny saborany sy ny voany ary ny saron' atin' ny fanatitra noho ny ota, dia nodorany teo ambony alitara, araka ny nandidian' i Jehovah an' i Mosesy.
11. And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.
11. Mais il brûla au feu hors du camp la chair et la peau.

12. And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.
12. Il égorgea l`holocauste. Les fils d`Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, et il le répandit sur l`autel tout autour.

13. And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.
13. Ils lui présentèrent l`holocauste coupé par morceaux, avec la tête, et il les brûla sur l`autel.
13. "Ary natolotr' ireo azy ny fanatitra dorana miaraka amin' ny didiny sy ny lohany; dia nodorany teo ambony alitara izany."
14. And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.
14. Il lava les entrailles et les jambes, et il les brûla sur l`autel, par dessus l`holocauste.
14. Ary nanasa ny taovany sy ny tongony izy dia nandoro izany ho fanatitra dorana teo ambonin' ny alitara.
15. And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.
15. Ensuite, il offrit le sacrifice du peuple. Il prit le bouc pour le sacrifice expiatoire du peuple, il l`égorgea, et l`offrit en expiation, comme la première victime.

16. And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.
16. Il offrit l`holocauste, et le sacrifia, d`après les règles établies.
16. Dia nitondra ny fanatitra dorana izy, ka nanatitra izany araka ny fanao.
17. And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.
17. Il présenta l`offrande, en prit une poignée, et la brûla sur l`autel, outre l`holocauste du matin.
17. Dia nitondra ny fanatitra hohanina izy, ka nangalany eran' ny tanan' ila, dia nodorany teo ambony alitara izany, ho fanampin' ny fanatitra dorana amin' ny maraina.
18. He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
18. Il égorgea le boeuf et le bélier, en sacrifice d`actions de grâces pour le peuple. Les fils d`Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, et il le répandit sur l`autel tout autour.
18. "Dia namono ny omby sy ny ondrilahy koa izy ho sorona amin' ny fanati-pihavanana izay ho an' ny olona; ary ny zanakalahin' i Arona nanolotra azy ny ra, izay natopiny manodidina tamin' ny lafin' ny alitara,"
19. And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:
19. "Ils lui présentèrent la graisse du boeuf et du bélier, la queue, la graisse qui couvre les entrailles, les rognons, et le grand lobe du foie;"
19. "Sy ny saboran' ny omby sy ny ondrilahy, ny hofany ary ny safodrorohany, mbamin' ny voany ary ny saron' atiny;"
20. And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:
20. ils mirent les graisses sur les poitrines, et il brûla les graisses sur l`autel.
20. Ary napetrany teo ambonin' ny tratran' ireo ny saborany, dia nodorany teo ambony alitara ny sabora.
21. And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.
21. Aaron agita de côté et d`autre devant l`Éternel les poitrines et l`épaule droite, comme Moïse l`avait ordonné.

22. And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
22. Aaron leva ses mains vers le peuple, et il le bénit. Puis il descendit, après avoir offert le sacrifice d`expiation, l`holocauste et le sacrifice d`actions de grâces.
22. Ary nanandratra ny tanany manandrify ny olona Arona, dia nitso-drano azy, ka nidina rehefa avy nanatitra ny fanatitra noho ny ota sy ny fanatitra dorana ary ny fanati-pihavanana.
23. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
23. Moïse et Aaron entrèrent dans la tente d`assignation. Lorsqu`ils en sortirent, ils bénirent le peuple. Et la gloire de l`Éternel apparut à tout le peuple.
23. "Ary niditra tao amin' ny trano-lay fihaonana Mosesy sy Arona, dia nivoaka ka nitso-drano ny olona; ary ny voninahitr' i Jehovah niseho tamin' ny olona rehetra."
24. And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
24. "Le feu sortit de devant l`Éternel, et consuma sur l`autel l`holocauste et les graisses. Tout le peuple le vit; et ils poussèrent des cris de joie, et se jetèrent sur leur face."
24. "Ary nisy afo nivoaka avy teo anatrehan' i Jehovah ka nandevona ny fanatitra dorana sy ny sabora teo ambony alitara; ary nony hitan' ny olona rehetra izany, dia nihoby izy sady niankohoka."
