1. And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

2. Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
2. "Tu prendras auprès de toi sept couples de tous les animaux purs, le mâle et sa femelle; une paire des animaux qui ne sont pas purs, le mâle et sa femelle;"

3. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

4. For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
4. Car, encore sept jours, et je ferai pleuvoir sur la terre quarante jours et quarante nuits, et j`exterminerai de la face de la terre tous les êtres que j`ai faits.

5. And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

6. And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
6. Noé avait six cents ans, lorsque le déluge d`eaux fut sur la terre.

7. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
7. Et Noé entra dans l`arche avec ses fils, sa femme et les femmes de ses fils, pour échapper aux eaux du déluge.
7. Ary niditra tao anatin' ny sambofiara Noa, sy ny zanany lahy, sy ny vadiny, mbamin' ny vinantovaviny miaraka aminy, noho ny amin' ny ranon' ny safodrano.
8. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
8. D`entre les animaux purs et les animaux qui ne sont pas purs, les oiseaux et tout ce qui se meut sur la terre,

9. There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

10. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
10. Sept jours après, les eaux du déluge furent sur la terre.

11. In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
11. L`an six cent de la vie de Noé, le second mois, le dix-septième jour du mois, en ce jour-là toutes les sources du grand abîme jaillirent, et les écluses des cieux s`ouvrirent.
11. Tamin' ny andro fahafito ambin' ny folo tamin' ny volana faharoa tamin' ny faheninjato taona niainan' i Noa, tamin' izany andro izany dia nipoitra ny loharano rehetra tamin' ny lalina lehibe, ary nivoha ny varavarankelin' ny lanitra.
12. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
12. La pluie tomba sur la terre quarante jours et quarante nuits.
12. Dia nilatsaka tambonin' ny tany efapolo andro sy efapolo alina ny ranonorana.
13. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
13. Ce même jour entrèrent dans l`arche Noé, Sem, Cham et Japhet, fils de Noé, la femme de Noé et les trois femmes de ses fils avec eux:
13. "Androtrizay dia efa tafiditra tao anatin' ny sambofiara Noa, sy Sema sy Hama ary Jafeta, zanakalahin' i Noa, mbamin' ny vadin' i Noa ary ny vinantony telo vavy niaraka taminy;"
14. They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
14. eux, et tous les animaux selon leur espèce, tout le bétail selon son espèce, tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre selon leur espèce, tous les oiseaux selon leur espèce, tous les petits oiseaux, tout ce qui a des ailes.
14. Dia izy ireo, sy ny biby rehetra samy araka ny karazany avy sy ny biby fiompy rehetra, samy araka ny karazany avy, sy ny biby rehetra izay mandady na mikisaka amin' ny tany, samy araka ny karazany avy, ary ny vorona rehetra, samy araka ny karazany avy, ny voronkely araka ny karazany avy.
15. And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
15. Ils entrèrent dans l`arche auprès de Noé, deux à deux, de toute chair ayant souffle de vie.
15. Dia niditra tao amin' i Noa tao anatin' ny sambofiara ireo, dia tsiroaroa avy tamin' ny nofo rehetra izay manam-pofonaina.
16. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
16. Il en entra, mâle et femelle, de toute chair, comme Dieu l`avait ordonné à Noé. Puis l`Éternel ferma la porte sur lui.
16. "Ary izay niditra tao dia lahy sy vavy, avy tamin' ny nofo rehetra, araka izay nandidian' Andriamanitra an' i Noa; ary narindrin' i Jehovah tao izy."
17. And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
17. Le déluge fut quarante jours sur la terre. Les eaux crûrent et soulevèrent l`arche, et elle s`éleva au-dessus de la terre.
17. "Ary naharitra tambonin' ny tany efapolo andro ny safodrano; ary nitombo ny rano ka nanainga ny sambofiara, dia nitsinkafona niala tambonin' ny tany izy."
18. And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
18. Les eaux grossirent et s`accrurent beaucoup sur la terre, et l`arche flotta sur la surface des eaux.
18. "Ary nahery ny rano ka nitombo be tambonin' ny tany; dia nandeha teny ambonin' ny rano ny sambofiara."
19. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
19. Les eaux grossirent de plus en plus, et toutes les hautes montagnes qui sont sous le ciel entier furent couvertes.
19. "Ary nahery indrindra ny rano tambonin' ny tany; ka voasarona ny tendrombohitra avo rehetra izay tambanin' ny lanitra rehetra."
20. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
20. Les eaux s`élevèrent de quinze coudées au-dessus des montagnes, qui furent couvertes.
20. Dimy ambin' ny folo hakiho no nihoaran' ny rano, ka voasarona ny tendrombohitra.
21. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
21. Tout ce qui se mouvait sur la terre périt, tant les oiseaux que le bétail et les animaux, tout ce qui rampait sur la terre, et tous les hommes.
21. Dia maty ny nofo rehetra izay nihetsiketsika tambonin' ny tany, dia ny vorona sy ny biby fiompy, sy ny biby mbamin' ny biby rehetra izay mandady na mikisaka amin' ny tany ary ny olona rehetra.
22. All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
22. Tout ce qui avait respiration, souffle de vie dans ses narines, et qui était sur la terre sèche, mourut.
22. Izay rehetra nanam-pofonaina teo am-bavorony avy tamin' izay rehetra teo amin' ny tany maina, dia maty avokoa.
23. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
23. Tous les êtres qui étaient sur la face de la terre furent exterminés, depuis l`homme jusqu`au bétail, aux reptiles et aux oiseaux du ciel: ils furent exterminés de la terre. Il ne resta que Noé, et ce qui était avec lui dans l`arche.
23. "Ary naringana ny zavatra velona rehetra izay tambonin' ny tany, dia ny olona sy ny biby fiompy sy ny biby mandady na mikisaka mbamin' ny voro-manidina eny amin' ny lanitra; dia naringana tsy ho amin' ny tany ireny; ary Noa sy izay niaraka taminy tao anatin' ny sambofiara ihany no sisa velona."
24. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
24. Les eaux furent grosses sur la terre pendant cent cinquante jours.
24. Ary nahery tambonin' ny tany dimampolo amby zato andro ny rano.
