Mordecai Honored
1. On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
1. Cette nuit-là, le roi ne put pas dormir, et il se fit apporter le livre des annales, les Chroniques. On les lut devant le roi,
1. "TAMIN' iny alina iny, dia tsy nahita torimaso ny mpanjaka, ka nandidy hampaka ny boky fitadidiana ny tantara; ary novakiana teo anatrehan' ny mpanjaka izany."
2. And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
2. et l`on trouva écrit ce que Mardochée avait révélé au sujet de Bigthan et de Théresch, les deux eunuques du roi, gardes du seuil, qui avaient voulu porter la main sur le roi Assuérus.
2. Ka, indro, voasoratra fa Mordekay no nanambara ny amin' i Bigtana sy Taresy, roa lahy isan' ny tsindranolahin' ny mpanjaka, dia ireo mpiambina teo am-baravarana izay nitady hamono an' i Ahasoerosy mpanjaka.
3. And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.
3. Le roi dit: Quelle marque de distinction et d`honneur Mardochée a-t-il reçue pour cela? Il n`a rien reçu, répondirent ceux qui servaient le roi.
3. Ary hoy ny mpanjaka: Inona moa no fisandratana sy voninahitra mba efa natao tamin' i Mordekay noho izany? Dia hoy ny mpanompon' ny mpanjaka izay nanompo azy: tsy mbola nisy natao ho azy.
4. And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
4. Alors le roi dit: Qui est dans la cour? -Haman était venu dans la cour extérieure de la maison du roi, pour demander au roi de faire pendre Mardochée au bois qu`il avait préparé pour lui. -
4. Ary hoy ny mpanjaka: Iza no ao an-kianja ao? Ary Hamana efa tonga tao an-kianja ivelan' ny tranon' ny mpanjaka tamin' izay, mba hiteny amin' ny mpanjaka ny amin' ny hanantonana an' i Mordekay amin' ny hazo izay efa nomaniny ho azy.
5. And the king's servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.
5. Les serviteurs du roi lui répondirent: C`est Haman qui se tient dans la cour. Et le roi dit: Qu`il entre.
5. Ka hoy ny mpanompon' ny mpanjaka taminy: Indro, Hamana no mitsangana ao an-kianja. Ary hoy ny mpanjaka: ampidiro izy.
6. So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?
6. Haman entra, et le roi lui dit: Que faut-il faire pour un homme que le roi veut honorer? Haman se dit en lui-même: Quel autre que moi le roi voudrait-il honorer?
6. Dia niditra i Hamana. Ary hoy ny mpanjaka taminy: Inona no tokony hatao amin' izay lehilahy tian' ny mpanjaka homem-boninahitra? Ary Hamana nanao anakampo hoe: koa iza indray moa no ho tian' ny mpanjaka homem-boninahitra afa-tsy izaho?
7. And Haman answered the king, For the man whom the king delighteth to honour,
7. Et Haman répondit au roi: Pour un homme que le roi veut honorer,
7. Ary Hamana namaly ny mpanjaka hoe: Ny amin' izay lehilahy tian' ny mpanjaka homem-boninahitra,
8. Let the royal apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:
8. il faut prendre le vêtement royal dont le roi se couvre et le cheval que le roi monte et sur la tête duquel se pose une couronne royale,
8. "Aoka halaina ny akanjo fiandrianana efa niakanjoan' ny mpanjaka sy ny soavaly efa nitaingenan' ny mpanjaka sy ny satroboninahitra efa nisatrohany;"
9. And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour.
9. remettre le vêtement et le cheval à l`un des principaux chefs du roi, puis revêtir l`homme que le roi veut honorer, le promener à cheval à travers la place de la ville, et crier devant lui: C`est ainsi que l`on fait à l`homme que le roi veut honorer!

Dia aoka izany fitafiana sy soavaly izany no hatolotra eo an-tanan' ny anankiray izay malaza indrindra amin' ny mpanapaka voatendrin' ny mpanjaka, ary aoka izay lehilahy tian' ny mpanjaka homem-boninahitra no hampiakanjoina izany ka hampitaingenina amin' ny soavaly, dia hoentina eny an-kalalahana eto an-tanàna, ary aoka hisy hiantso eo alohany hoe: Izao no hatao amin' ny lehilahy izay tian' ny mpanjaka homem-boninahitra.
10. Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.
10. "Le roi dit à Haman: Prends tout de suite le vêtement et le cheval, comme tu l`as dit, et fais ainsi pour Mardochée, le Juif, qui est assis à la porte du roi; ne néglige rien de tout ce que tu as mentionné."
10. "Dia hoy ny mpanjaka tamin' i Hamana: Faingàna àry, alao ny akanjo sy ny soavaly araka ny voalazanao, ka dia ataovy araka izany amin' i Mordekay Jiosy, izay mipetraka eo am-bavahadin' ny mpanjaka; aza asiana latsaka izay rehetra nolazainao."
11. Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.
11. Et Haman prit le vêtement et le cheval, il revêtit Mardochée, il le promena à cheval à travers la place de la ville, et il cria devant lui: C`est ainsi que l`on fait à l`homme que le roi veut honorer!
11. Dia nalain' i Hamana ny akanjo sy ny soavaly, ka nampiakanjo an' i Mordekay izy ary nampitaingina azy tamin' ny soavaly, dia nitondra azy ho eny an-kalalahana teo an-tanàna ka niantso teo alohany hoe: Izao no hatao amin' ny lehilahy izay tian' ny mpanjaka homem-boninahitra.
12. And Mordecai came again to the king's gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.
12. Mardochée retourna à la porte du roi, et Haman se rendit en hâte chez lui, désolé et la tête voilée.
12. "Ary Mordekay niverina nankeo amin' ny vavahadin' ny mpanjaka; fa Hamana kosa nody faingana ho any an-tranony sady nalahelo no nisaron-doha."
13. And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.
13. Haman raconta à Zéresch, sa femme, et à tous ses amis, tout ce qui lui était arrivé. Et ses sages, et Zéresch, sa femme, lui dirent: Si Mardochée, devant lequel tu as commencé de tomber, est de la race des Juifs, tu ne pourras rien contre lui, mais tu tomberas devant lui.
13. Dia nolazain' i Hamana tamin' i Zaresy vadiny sy ny sakaizany rehetra izay zavatra rehetra nanjo azy. Ary hoy ny olon-kendriny sy Zaresy vadiny taminy: Raha avy amin' ny taranaky ny Jiosy Mordekay, izay efa niantomboka nandavo anao teo anatrehany, dia tsy haharesy azy mihitsy ianao, fa ho lavo eo anatrehany tokoa.
14. And while they were yet talking with him, came the king's chamberlains, and hasted to bring Haman unto the banquet that Esther had prepared.
14. Comme ils lui parlaient encore, les eunuques du roi arrivèrent et conduisirent aussitôt Haman au festin qu`Esther avait préparé.
14. Ary raha mbola niresaka taminy ihany ireo, dia tonga ny tsindranolahin' ny mpanjaka ka naka faingana an' i Hamana ho any amin' ny fanasana izay efa namboarin' i Estera.
