Tablets Like the First Ones
1. At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.
1. "En ce temps-là, l`Éternel me dit: Taille deux tables de pierre comme les premières, et monte vers moi sur la montagne; tu feras aussi une arche de bois."
1. Tamin' izany fotoana izany no nilazan' i Jehovah tamiko hoe: Manamboara vato fisaka roa toy ny tamin' ny voalohany ka miakara ho ety amiko ety an-tendrombohitra, ary manaova fiara hazo ho anao.
2. And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
2. J`écrirai sur ces tables les paroles qui étaient sur les premières tables que tu as brisées, et tu les mettras dans l`arche.
2. Dia hosoratako amin' ny vato fisaka ny teny izay teo amin' ny vato fisaka teo aloha izay nomontsamontsaninao, ka hataonao ao anatin' ny fiara ireny.
3. And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
3. Je fis une arche de bois d`acacia, je taillai deux tables de pierre comme les premières, et je montai sur la montagne, les deux tables dans ma main.
3. Dia nanao fiara tamin' ny hazo sitima aho ka nanamboatra vato fisaka roa tahaka ny teo aloha, dia niakatra teo an-tendrombohitra aho, nitondra ny vato fisaka roa teny an-tanako.
4. And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.
4. "L`Éternel écrivit sur les tables ce qui avait été écrit sur les premières, les dix paroles qu`il vous avait dites sur la montagne, du milieu du feu, le jour de l`assemblée; et l`Éternel me les donna."
4. "Ary nanoratra teo amin' ny vato fisaka Izy, araka ilay nosoratany tamin' ny voalohany, dia ny didy folo, izay nolazain' i Jehovah taminareo tao an-tendrombohitra tao afovoan' ny afo tamin' ny andro nivoriana; dia nomen' i Jehovah ahy ireny."
5. And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.
5. Je retournai et je descendis de la montagne, je mis les tables dans l`arche que j`avais faite, et elles restèrent là, comme l`Éternel me l`avait ordonné.
5. Dia nihodina aho ka nidina niala teo an-tendrombohitra, ary ny vato fisaka roa napetrako tao anatin' ny fiara izay efa nataoko, dia ho ao izany, araka ny nandidian' i Jehovah ahy.
6. And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office in his stead.

7. From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land of rivers of waters.
7. Ils partirent de là pour Gudgoda, et de Gudgoda pour Jothbatha, pays où il y a des cours d`eau.

8. At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.
8. En ce temps-là, l`Éternel sépara la tribu de Lévi, et lui ordonna de porter l`arche de l`alliance de l`Éternel, de se tenir devant l`Éternel pour le servir, et de bénir le peuple en son nom: ce qu`elle a fait jusqu`à ce jour.
8. Tamin' izany fotoana izany, no nanokanan' i Jehovah ny fokon' i Levy, hitondra ny fiaran' ny faneken' i Jehovah, sy hijanona eo anatrehan' i Jehovah hanao asa fanompoana ho Azy sy hitsodrano amin' ny anarany mandraka androany.
9. Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.
9. C`est pourquoi Lévi n`a ni part ni héritage avec ses frères: l`Éternel est son héritage, comme l`Éternel, ton Dieu, le lui a dit.

10. And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee.
10. "Je restai sur la montagne, comme précédemment, quarante jours et quarante nuits. L`Éternel m`exauça encore cette fois; l`Éternel ne voulut pas te détruire."
10. "Ary nitoetra efapolo andro sy efapolo alina tao an-tendrombohitra tahaka ilay tamin' ny voalohany aho; ary Jehovah nihaino ahy koa tamin' izany fotoana izany, ka tsy nety nandringana anao."
11. And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.
11. L`Éternel me dit: Lève-toi, va, marche à la tête du peuple. Qu`ils aillent prendre possession du pays que j`ai juré à leurs pères de leur donner.
11. Dia hoy Jehovah tamiko: Miaingà, mandehana eo alohan' ny olona, mba hidirany sy hahazoany ny tany izay nianianako tamin' ny razany homena azy.
Fear the LORD
12. And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
12. "Maintenant, Israël, que demande de toi l`Éternel, ton Dieu, si ce n`est que tu craignes l`Éternel, ton Dieu, afin de marcher dans toutes ses voies, d`aimer et de servir l`Éternel, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur et de toute ton âme;"
12. Ary ankehitriny, ry Isiraely ô, inona moa no ilain' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao aminao, afa-tsy ny hatahotra an' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao sy ny handeha amin' ny lalany rehetra ary ny ho tia Azy sy hanompo an' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao amin' ny fonao rehetra sy ny fanahinao rehetra,
13. To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
13. si ce n`est que tu observes les commandements de l`Éternel et ses lois que je te prescris aujourd`hui, afin que tu sois heureux?

14. Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
14. Voici, à l`Éternel, ton Dieu, appartiennent les cieux et les cieux des cieux, la terre et tout ce qu`elle renferme.
14. Indro, an' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ny lanitra sy ny lanitry ny lanitra, ny tany koa mbamin' izay rehetra eo aminy.
15. Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
15. "Et c`est à tes pères seulement que l`Éternel s`est attaché pour les aimer; et, après eux, c`est leur postérité, c`est vous qu`il a choisis d`entre tous les peuples, comme vous le voyez aujourd`hui."

16. Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
16. Vous circoncirez donc votre coeur, et vous ne roidirez plus votre cou.

17. For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
17. Car l`Éternel, votre Dieu, est le Dieu des dieux, le Seigneur des seigneurs, le Dieu grand, fort et terrible, qui ne fait point acception des personnes et qui ne reçoit point de présent,
17. "Fa Jehovah Andriamanitrareo dia Andriamanitry ny andriamanitra, sy Tompon' ny Tompo, Andriamanitra lehibe sy mahery ary mahatahotra, izay tsy mizaha tavan' olona, na mandray kolikoly;"
18. He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

19. Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
19. Vous aimerez l`étranger, car vous avez été étrangers dans le pays d`Égypte.

20. Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.
20. Tu craindras l`Éternel, ton Dieu, tu le serviras, tu t`attacheras à lui, et tu jureras par son nom.
20. "Jehovah Andriamanitrao no hatahoranao; Izy no hotompoinao, ary Izy no hifikiranao, ary ny anarany no hianiananao."
21. He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
21. Il est ta gloire, il est ton Dieu: c`est lui qui a fait au milieu de toi ces choses grandes et terribles que tes yeux ont vues.
21. Izy no fideranao, ary Izy no Andriamanitrao, Izay efa nanao ireo zavatra lehibe sy mahatahotra ireo taminao, izay efa hitan' ny masonao.
22. Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
22. "Tes pères descendirent en Égypte au nombre de soixante-dix personnes; et maintenant l`Éternel, ton Dieu, a fait de toi une multitude pareille aux étoiles des cieux."
