1. And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
1. Puis un des sept anges qui tenaient les sept coupes vint, et il m`adressa la parole, en disant: Viens, je te montrerai le jugement de la grande prostituée qui est assise sur les grandes eaux.
1. "Ary tonga ny anjely anankiray tamin’izy fito izay nanana ny lovia fito, dia niteny tamiko nanao hoe: Avia aty, dia hasehoko anao ny fitsarana ilay vehivavy janga lehibe, izay mipetraka eny ambonin’ny rano maro;"
2. With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
2. C`est avec elle que les rois de la terre se sont livrés à l`impudicité, et c`est du vin de son impudicité que les habitants de la terre se sont enivrés.
2. Dia ilay nanaovan’ny mpanjakan’ny tany fahavetavetana, sady natao leon’ny divain’ny fahavetavetany ny mponina tamin’ny tany.
3. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
3. Il me transporta en esprit dans un désert. Et je vis une femme assise sur une bête écarlate, pleine de noms de blasphème, ayant sept têtes et dix cornes.
3. Dia nentiny tamin’ny Fanahy ho any an’efitra aho, ary nahita vehivavy mitaingina bibidia mivolon-jaky, feno anarana misy blasfemia sady nanan-doha fito sy tandroka folo.
4. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
4. Cette femme était vêtue de pourpre et d`écarlate, et parée d`or, de pierres précieuses et de perles. Elle tenait dans sa main une coupe d`or, remplie d`abominations et des impuretés de sa prostitution.
4. "Ary ravehivavy dia nitafy lamba volomparasy sy jaky ary niravaka volamena sy vatosoa ary perila sady nitana kapoaka volamena teny an-tanany, feno zava-betaveta, dia zava-maloto momba ny fahavetavetany;"
5. And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
5. Sur son front était écrit un nom, un mystère: Babylone la grande, la mère des impudiques et des abominations de la terre.
5. Ary nisy anarana voasoratra teo amin’ny handriny nanao hoe: Zava-miafina, Babylona Lehibe, renin' ny mpijangajanga sy ny zava-betaveta amin' ny tany.
6. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
6. Et je vis cette femme ivre du sang des saints et du sang des témoins de Jésus. Et, en la voyant, je fus saisi d`un grand étonnement.
6. "Ary hitako fa, indro ravehivavy dia leon’ny ran’ny olona masina sy ny ran’ny maritioran’i Jesosy; koa raha nahita azy aho, dia gaga indrindra."
7. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
7. Et l`ange me dit: Pourquoi t`étonnes-tu? Je te dirai le mystère de la femme et de la bête qui la porte, qui a les sept têtes et les dix cornes.
7. Ary hoy ilay anjely tamiko: Nahoana no gaga ianao? Hilaza aminao aho ny zava-miafina ny amin-dravehivavy sy ny bibidia mitondra azy, izay manan-doha fito sy tandroka folo.
8. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
8. La bête que tu as vue était, et elle n`est plus. Elle doit monter de l`abîme, et aller à la perdition. Et les habitants de la terre, ceux dont le nom n`a pas été écrit dès la fondation du monde dans le livre de vie, s`étonneront en voyant la bête, parce qu`elle était, et qu`elle n`est plus, et qu`elle reparaîtra. -
8. Ny bibidia, ilay efa hitanao, dia teo ihany ary tsy eo izy izao, nefa efa hiakatra avy amin’ny lavaka tsy hita noanoa izy ka ho lasa any amin’ny fahaverezana, ary ny monina ambonin’ny tany, dia izay tsy voasoratra eo amin’ny bokin’ny fiainana hatramin’ny nanorenana izao tontolo izao, dia ho gaga raha mijery ilay bibidia, izay teo ihany, ary tsy eo izao, nefa mbola ho avy indray.
9. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
9. C`est ici l`intelligence qui a de la sagesse. -Les sept têtes sont sept montagnes, sur lesquelles la femme est assise.

10. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
10. Ce sont aussi sept rois: cinq sont tombés, un existe, l`autre n`est pas encore venu, et quand il sera venu, il doit rester peu de temps.
10. "Ary mpanjaka fito ireo; efa lavo ny dimy fa ny iray mbola eo ihany, ary ny iray koa mbola tsy tonga; ary rehefa tonga izy, dia tsy maintsy mitoetra kelikely;"
11. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
11. Et la bête qui était, et qui n`est plus, est elle-même un huitième roi, et elle est du nombre des sept, et elle va à la perdition.
11. Ary ny bibidia izay teo ihany ary tsy eo izao, dia izy no naman’ny fito mahavalo azy ka lasa ho amin’ny fahaverezana.
12. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
12. Les dix cornes que tu as vues sont dix rois, qui n`ont pas encore reçu de royaume, mais qui reçoivent autorité comme rois pendant une heure avec la bête.
12. "Ary ny tandroka folo, izay hitanao, dia mpanjaka folo izay tsy mbola nahazo fanjakana; fa mandray fahefana ho toa mpanjaka ora iray miaraka amin’ny bibidia izy."
13. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
13. Ils ont un même dessein, et ils donnent leur puissance et leur autorité à la bête.
13. Ireo dia miray saina ka manome ny heriny sy ny fahefany ho an’ilay bibidia.
14. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
14. Ils combattront contre l`agneau, et l`agneau les vaincra, parce qu`il est le Seigneur des seigneurs et le Roi des rois, et les appelés, les élus et les fidèles qui sont avec lui les vaincront aussi.
14. "Ireo dia hiady amin’ny Zanak’ondry, ary ny Zanak’ondry haharesy azy, satria Tompon’ny tompo sy Mpanjakan’ny mpanjaka Izy; ary izay momba Azy dia voantso sy voafidy ary mahatoky."
15. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
15. Et il me dit: Les eaux que tu as vues, sur lesquelles la prostituée est assise, ce sont des peuples, des foules, des nations, et des langues.
15. Ary hoy izy tamiko: ny rano efa hitanao, izay ipetrahan’ilay vehivavy janga, dia olona sy vahoaka betsaka sy firenena ary ny samy hafa fiteny.
16. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
16. Les dix cornes que tu as vues et la bête haïront la prostituée, la dépouilleront et la mettront à nu, mangeront ses chairs, et la consumeront par le feu.
16. Ary ny tandroka folo izay efa hitanao teo amin' ny bibidia dia ireo no hankahala ilay vehivavy janga ka hahatsinontsinona azy sy hampitanjaka azy sy hihinana ny nofony ary handevona ny tenany amin’ny afo.
17. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
17. Car Dieu a mis dans leurs coeurs d`exécuter son dessein et d`exécuter un même dessein, et de donner leur royauté à la bête, jusqu`à ce que les paroles de Dieu soient accomplies.
17. Fa Andriamanitra efa nanome fo ireo hanatanteraka ny sitrapony sy hifanara-tsaina ary hanome ny fanjakany ho an’ilay bibidia, mandra-pahatanteraky ny tenin’Andriamanitra.
18. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
18. Et la femme que tu as vue, c`est la grande ville qui a la royauté sur les rois de la terre.
