Israel to Be Destroyed
1. I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.
1. Je vis le Seigneur qui se tenait sur l`autel. Et il dit: Frappe les chapiteaux et que les seuils s`ébranlent, Et brise-les sur leurs têtes à tous! Je ferai périr le reste par l`épée. Aucun d`eux ne pourra se sauver en fuyant, Aucun d`eux n`échappera.
1. "Nahita ny Tompo nitsangana teo ambonin' ny alitara aho, ka hoy Izy: asio ny kapitaly amin' ny varavarana hihetsiketsehan' ny tokonana, ary torotoroy ny lohan' izy rehetra, ka izay sisa aminy dia hovonoiko amin' ny sabatra; ary tsy hisy afa-mandositra izay mandositra aminy, sady tsy hisy ho afaka izay mitsoaka aminy."
2. Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
2. "S`ils pénètrent dans le séjour des morts, Ma main les en arrachera; S`ils montent aux cieux, Je les en ferai descendre."

3. And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
3. "S`ils se cachent au sommet du Carmel, Je les y chercherai et je les saisirai; S`ils se dérobent à mes regards dans le fond de la mer, Là j`ordonnerai au serpent de les mordre."
3. "Ary na dia miery any an-tampon' i Karmela aza izy, dia any no hitadiavako sy hangalako azy; ary na dia manafin-tena any amin' ny fanambanin' ny ranomasina aza izy, mba tsy ho hitan' ny masoko, dia any no handidiako ny menarana, ka hanaikitra azy."
4. And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
4. "S`ils vont en captivité devant leurs ennemis, Là j`ordonnerai à l`épée de les faire périr; Je dirigerai contre eux mes regards Pour faire du mal et non du bien."
4. "Ary na dia lasan-ko babo eo anoloan' ny fahavalony aza izy, dia any no handidiako ny sabatra, ka hamono azy; ary hampanandriniko azy ny masoko hahatonga ny loza aminy, fa tsy ny soa."
5. And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
5. "Le Seigneur, l`Éternel des armées, touche la terre, et elle tremble, Et tous ses habitants sont dans le deuil; Elle monte tout entière comme le fleuve, Et elle s`affaisse comme le fleuve d`Égypte."
5. "Ary Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny maro no manendry ny tany, ka dia hiempo izany, ary hisaona ny mponina rehetra ao aminy; ary dia hihatondraka tahaka ny safotra izany, ary hihena indray toy ny fahatondrahan' ny reniranon' i Egypta."
6. It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
6. "Il a bâti sa demeure dans les cieux, Et fondé sa voûte sur la terre; Il appelle les eaux de la mer, Et les répand à la surface de la terre: L`Éternel est son nom."
6. "Izy no manorina ny tranony misy rihana any amin' ny lanitra, sady manorina ny tafiny eny ambonin' ny tany; ary miantso ny rano eny an-dranomasina ka mampilatsaka azy eny ambonin' ny tany, Jehovah no anarany."
7. Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
7. N`êtes-vous pas pour moi comme les enfants des Éthiopiens, Enfants d`Israël? dit l`Éternel. N`ai-je pas fait sortir Israël du pays d`Égypte, Comme les Philistins de Caphtor et les Syriens de Kir?
7. Moa tsy toy ny taranaky ny Etiopiana va ianareo raha amiko, ry Zanak' Isiraely? hoy Jehovah. Tsy ny Isiraely va no nentiko nivoaka avy tany amin' ny tany Egypta, ary ny Filistina avy tany Kaftora, ary ny Syriana avy tany Kira?
8. Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
8. "Voici, le Seigneur, l`Éternel, a les yeux sur le royaume coupable. Je le détruirai de dessus la face de la terre; Toutefois je ne détruirai pas entièrement la maison de Jacob, Dit l`Éternel."
8. "Indro, ny mason' i Jehovah Tompo no manandrina ny fanjakana feno ota, ka dia hofongorana tsy ho eo ambonin' ny tany izy; kanefa tsy dia hofongorana avokoa ny taranak' i Jakoba, hoy Jehovah."
9. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
9. Car voici, je donnerai mes ordres, Et je secouerai la maison d`Israël parmi toutes les nations, Comme on secoue avec le crible, Sans qu`il tombe à terre un seul grain.
9. Fa, indro, Izaho no handidy, ka hosivaniko any amin' ny firenena rehetra ny taranak' Isiraely, tahaka ny fanasivana varimbazaha amin' ny sivana, nefa tsy hisy na dia ny voa kely indrindra aza ho latsaka amin' ny tany.
10. All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
10. Tous les pécheurs de mon peuple mourront par l`épée, Ceux qui disent: Le malheur n`approchera pas, ne nous atteindra pas.
10. Sabatra no hamonoana ny mpanota rehetra amin' ny oloko, dia ireo izay manao hoe: Ny loza tsy hanakaiky na hahatratra anay.
Israel's Restoration
11. In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
11. En ce temps-là, je relèverai de sa chute la maison de David, J`en réparerai les brèches, j`en redresserai les ruines, Et je la rebâtirai comme elle était autrefois,
11. "Amin' izany andro izany dia hatsangako indray ny tabernakelin' i Davida izay efa nianjera, ary hotampenako ny efa banga ao; ary hamboariko izay efa rava aminy, ka dia haoriko tahaka ny taloha izy;"
12. That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
12. Afin qu`ils possèdent le reste d`Édom et toutes les nations Sur lesquelles mon nom a été invoqué, Dit l`Éternel, qui accomplira ces choses.
12. Mba hananany izay sisa amin' i Edoma sy amin' ny jentilisa rehetra, izay antsoina amin' ny anarako, hoy Jehovah, Izay manao izany.
13. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
13. Voici, les jours viennent, dit l`Éternel, Où le laboureur suivra de près le moissonneur, Et celui qui foule le raisin celui qui répand la semence, Où le moût ruissellera des montagnes Et coulera de toutes les collines.
13. "Indro, avy ny andro, hoy Jehovah, izay hahatratraran' ny mpiasa tany ny mpijinja, ary ny mpanosihosy voaloboka hahatratra ny mpamafy; ny tendrombohitra hipoipoitra ranom-boaloboka, ary ny havoana rehetra hiempo."
14. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
14. "Je ramènerai les captifs de mon peuple d`Israël; Ils rebâtiront les villes dévastées et les habiteront, Ils planteront des vignes et en boiront le vin, Ils établiront des jardins et en mangeront les fruits."
14. "Ary hampodiko indray avy amin' ny fahababoana ny Isiraely oloko, dia hanangana ny tanàna efa rava izy ka honina ao, ary hamboly tanimboaloboka izy ka hisotro ny divay avy aminy; hanao saha koa izy ka hihinana ny vokatra avy aminy."
15. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
15. Je les planterai dans leur pays, Et ils ne seront plus arrachés du pays que je leur ai donné, Dit L`Éternel, ton Dieu.
15. Ary hamboleko ao amin' ny taniny izy, ka tsy hongotana intsony amin' ny taniny izay nomeko azy izy, hoy Jehovah Andriamanitrao.
