2. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

2. Et je vis un ange puissant, qui criait d`une voix forte: Qui est digne d`ouvrir le livre, et d`en rompre les sceaux?

2. Ary hitako fa, indro, nisy anjely mahery niantso tamin’ny feo mafy hoe: Iza no mendrika hanokatra ny boky sy hamaha ny tombo-kaseny?

3. And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

3. Et personne dans le ciel, ni sur la terre, ni sous la terre, ne put ouvrir le livre ni le regarder.

3. Ary tsy nisy olona tany an-danitra, na tety an-tany, na tany ambanin’ny tany nahasokatra ny boky na nahajery azy.

4. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

4. Et je pleurai beaucoup de ce que personne ne fut trouvé digne d`ouvrir le livre ni de le regarder.

4. Ary nitomany mafy aho, satria tsy nisy hita mendrika hanokatra sy hamaky ny boky na hijery azy.

5. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

5. "Et l`un des vieillards me dit: Ne pleure point; voici, le lion de la tribu de Juda, le rejeton de David, a vaincu pour ouvrir le livre et ses sept sceaux."

5. Ary ny anankiray tamin’ny loholona nanao tamiko hoe: Aza mitomany, indro, ny Liona avy amin’ny fokon’i Joda, dia ny solofon’i Davida, no efa naharesy ka hanokatra ny boky sy hamaha ny tombo-kaseny fito.

6. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

6. Et je vis, au milieu du trône et des quatre êtres vivants et au milieu des vieillards, un agneau qui était là comme immolé. Il avait sept cornes et sept yeux, qui sont les sept esprits de Dieu envoyés par toute la terre.

6. Ary hitako fa, indro, teo afovoan’ny sezafiandrianana sy ny zava-manan' aina efatra ary teo afovoan’ny loholona dia nisy Zanak’ondry nitsangana tahaka ny efa voavono, nanan-tandroka fito sy maso fito, dia ny Fanahy fiton’Andriamanitra nirahina hankany amin’ny tany rehetra.

7. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

7. Il vint, et il prit le livre de la main droite de celui qui était assis sur le trône.

7. Ary tonga Izy ka nandray ny boky teo an-tanana ankavanan’Ilay nipetraka teo ambonin’ny sezafiandrianana.

8. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

8. Quand il eut pris le livre, les quatre êtres vivants et les vingt-quatre vieillards se prosternèrent devant l`agneau, tenant chacun une harpe et des coupes d`or remplies de parfums, qui sont les prières des saints.

8. Ary rehefa nandray ny boky Izy, ny zava-manan' aina efatra sy ny loholona efatra amby roapolo dia niankohoka teo anatrehan’ny Zanak’Ondry, sady samy nanana harpa sy lovia volamena feno ditin-kazo manitra izy, dia ny vavaka ataon’ny olo-masina izany.

9. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

9. "Et ils chantaient un cantique nouveau, en disant: Tu es digne de prendre le livre, et d`en ouvrir les sceaux; car tu as été immolé, et tu as racheté pour Dieu par ton sang des hommes de toute tribu, de toute langue, de tout peuple, et de toute nation;"

9. "Ary nihira fihiram-baovao izy ireo ka nanao hoe: Ianao no mendrika haka ny boky sy hamaha ny tombo-kaseny. Fa voavono Ianao, ary nanavotra anay ho an’Andriamanitra tamin’ny ranao avy amin’ny fianakaviana rehetra sy ny fiteny samy hafa rehetra, sy ny olona rehetra, ary ny firenena rehetra;"

10. And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

10. tu as fait d`eux un royaume et des sacrificateurs pour notre Dieu, et ils régneront sur la terre.

10. "Ary efa nataonao mpanjaka sy mpisorona ho an’Andriamanitra izahay; ary hanjaka ety ambonin’ny tany isika."

11. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

11. Je regardai, et j`entendis la voix de beaucoup d`anges autour du trône et des êtres vivants et des vieillards, et leur nombre était des myriades de myriades et des milliers de milliers.

11. Ary nahita aho sady nandre feon’anjely maro manodidina ny sezafiandrianana sy ny zava-manan' aina ary ny loholona, ary ny isany dia alinalina sy arivoarivo,

12. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

12. Ils disaient d`une voix forte: L`agneau qui a été immolé est digne de recevoir la puissance, la richesse, la sagesse, la force, l`honneur, la gloire, et la louange.

12. Nanao tamin’ny feo mahery hoe: Ny Zanak’ondry, izay novonoina, dia mendrika handray hery sy harena sy fahendrena, sy faherezana sy haja sy voninahitra, ary saotra.

13. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

13. Et toutes les créatures qui sont dans le ciel, sur la terre, sous la terre, sur la mer, et tout ce qui s`y trouve, je les entendis qui disaient: A celui qui est assis sur le trône, et à l`agneau, soient la louange, l`honneur, la gloire, et la force, aux siècles des siècles!

13. "Ary izao zavatra ary rehetra izao, na izay any an-danitra, na izay ety ambonin’ny tany sy any ambanin’ny tany, na izay any an-dranomasina mbamin’izay rehetra ao anatiny, dia reko samy nanao hoe: Ho an’Ilay mipetraka eo ambonin’ny sezafiandrianana sy ho an’ny Zanak’ondry anie ny saotra sy ny haja sy ny voninahitra ary ny fanjakana mandrakizay mandrakizay;"

14. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

14. Et les quatre êtres vivants disaient: Amen! Et les vieillards se prosternèrent et adorèrent.
